Louay Khraish is a Lebanese-American screenwriter, producer, and film educator, He is known for the feature film, ''Arzé'', Lebanon's submission to the List of submissions to the 97th Academy Awards for Best International Feature Film, 97th Academy Award. Louay Taleb (; born August 9, 1975, in Damascus, Syria) is a retired Syrian football (soccer), football player. He ended his career as a player at Al-Wahda SC Damascus, Al-Wahda in 2002 and became one of the assistant coaches there. He moved to Al-Faisaly Club (Amman), Al-Faisaly club in Jordan to be the assistant coach there from February 2009 until his contract ended in May 2009. Loay Ayyoub (; born 1993 or 1994) is a Palestinian photojournalist. He studied at Al-Azhar University – Gaza and has worked as a freelance photographer for ''The Washington Post''. Early life and education Ayyoub was born in Gaza. Ayyoub studied Media, Journalism and Public Relations at Al-Azhar University – Gaza, and graduated in 2017. Loai Al-Saqa
Loai Mohammad Haj Bakr al-Saqa () is a Syrian member of al-Qaeda, convicted of masterminding and financing the 2003 Istanbul bombings. In February 2007, he was sentenced to 67 life sentences by the Turkish courts. He was arrested in August 2005, while allegedly planning a bomb attack against an Israeli cruise ship. He was accused of supplying Turkish militants $170,000 to perform the bombing. Unlike some of the six Turkish men also given life sentences for the attacks, al-Saqa maintained his innocence throughout the trial. Luay Salah Hassan Al-Khafaji (; born 7 February 1982 in Baghdad, Iraq) is an Iraqi former football player. He played for the Iraq national team as well as for the Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, Al-Zawraa, Persepolis and Erbil clubs. He scored 121 Iraqi Premier League goals in his career. Luay K. Nakhleh (Arabic: لؤي نخله; born May 8, 1974) is a Palestinain-Israeli-American computer scientist and computational biologist. He is the William and Stephanie Sick Dean of the George R. Brown School of Engineering at Rice University. Nakhleh's research is on computational and statistical approaches to phylogenomics and comparative genomics. Louay Kayyali
Louay Kayali (), (20 January 1934 – 26 January 1978) was a Syrian modern artist. Biography Kayali was born in Aleppo, Syria in 1934 and studied art in the Accademia di Belle Arti after having studied at the Al-Tajhiz School where his work was first exhibited in 1952. He met Syrian artist Wahbi al-Hariri there and the two would share a friendship for the rest of Kayali's life. Al-Hariri would become his mentor as he was for artist Fateh Moudarres that Hariri introduced to Kayali in 1955. Moudarress and Kayali would together represent Syrian modern art at the Venice Biennial Fair. He suffered from depression and died in 1978 from burns incurred from his bed catching fire, reportedly from a cigarette.
