Lieutenant Colonel Wisnu Airfield ( id, Lapangan Terbang Letnan Kolonel Wisnu) also referred to as Buleleng Airport ( id, Bandar Udara Buleleng) is located in Sumberkima, Buleleng Regency, Bali, Indonesia. Construction was funded by the local government and completed in 2007. Airfield runway are planned to be extended from 600 to 1200 meters by 2010. Sumberkima
Sumberkima Village (Indonesian: Desa Sumberkima) is a small settlement, located in west Buleleng Regency, in the north-west corner of Bali island, a Province of the Indonesian archipelago. Economy Sumberkima settlement’s economy is heavily reliant on hospitality business, employment and supply of primary produce to the multiple tourist resorts located along the coast in the area. Buleleng Regency
Buleleng ( ban, ᬓᬩᬸᬧᬢᬾᬦ᭄ᬩᬸᬮᭂᬮᭂᬂ, Kabupatén Buléléng) is a regency (''kabupaten'') of Bali, Indonesia. It has an area of 1,365.88 km2 and population of 624,125 at the 2010 census and 791,910 at the 2020 census. Its regency seat is at the town of Singaraja. Buleleng was founded as a kingdom by Gusti Panji Sakti, who ruled c. 1660-c. 1700. He is commemorated as a heroic ancestor-figure who expanded the power of Buleleng to Blambangan on East Java. The Lesser Sunda Islands or nowadays known as Nusa Tenggara Islands ( id, Kepulauan Nusa Tenggara, formerly ) are an archipelago in Maritime Southeast Asia, north of Australia. Short-field Landing
Short-field landing is a demanding procedure for pilots in aircraft, utilized when the length of the runway or landing area is relatively short, or where obstacles in close vicinity to the landing approach limit the available landing area. In the latter case, the runway likely have a Displaced threshold.
