Love Toy
''Love Toy'' is a 1968 soft-core exploitation film, produced and directed by Doris Wishman. It stars Pat Happel, Uta Erickson (billed as Willa Mist) and Larry Hunter (billed as Vic Lester) Plot Marcus (Larry Hunter) loses all his belongings to Alex (Bernard Marcel) at a game of Gin Rummy. Alex offers to drop all debts in return for one night with Marcus' teenage daughter Chris (Pat Happel). Marcus agrees reluctantly but when he tries to intervene, Alex and his wife Mary (Uta Erickson) bind him to a chair. She stays behind to keep an eye on him. Alex forces Chris to assume the roles of his childhood cat 'Samuel' (she has to lap up milk from a bowl while nude), his mother (she has to nurse him), his wife, his child (he spanks her), his horse, and finally his mistress. Therewhile, Mary seems to be burning up in her green dress. She performs an erotic dance for Marcus (who seems to do nothing more than moan in agony or pain throughout most of the film), lapses into a memory of h ... Doris Wishman
Doris Wishman (June 1, 1912 August 10, 2002) was an American film director, screenwriter, and producer. She is credited with having directed and produced at least 30 feature films during a career spanning over four decades, most notably in the sexploitation film genre. A native of New York City, Wishman began her film career as a hobby after the death of her husband in 1958. She made her feature debut with '' Hideout in the Sun'' (1960), and went on to direct numerous nudist and sexploitation films, such as ''Gentlemen Prefer Nature Girls'' (1963), ''Behind the Nudist Curtain'' (1963), and '' Bad Girls Go to Hell'' (1965). In the 1970s, she made her first foray into directing pornographic films. In 1979, Wishman filmed her first and only feature horror film, ''A Night to Dismember'', which she spent several years editing after multiple reels were destroyed during post-production. She made a further three films in the early 2000s before dying in 2002, aged 90. Life and career ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Uta Erickson
Uta Erickson (who often used the stage names Artemidia Grillet and Carla Erikson) was a Norwegian actress who was in many sexploitation films of the late 1960s. She starred in several provocatively titled films directed by Michael and Roberta Findlay, including ''The Kiss Of Her Flesh'', ''A Thousand Pleasures'', ''The Curse Of Her Flesh'' and ''The Ultimate Degenerate''. Erickson was also a favorite of the directors Doris Wishman (''Love Toy'') and Barry Mahon (''Sex Killer''). Some of her films, notably ''Mnasidika'', were arty enough to pass as the "low end" of an arthouse pairing with a film by a European auteur. At her best, such as in ''Passion in Hot Hollows '' directed by Joe Sarno, her acting could make a softcore scene far more erotic. '' Deep Throat'' rang the death knell to this softcore genre and effectively ended Erickson's film career. Ms Erickson's current whereabouts, or even if she is dead, or alive, are unknown. Soft-core
Softcore pornography or softcore porn, is commercial still photography or film that has a pornographic or erotic component but is less sexually graphic and intrusive than hardcore pornography, defined by a lack of visual sexual penetration. Softcore pornography includes stripteases, lingerie modeling, simulated sex and emphasis on the sensual appreciation of the female or male form. It typically contains nude or semi-nude actors involved in love scenes and is intended to be sexually arousing and aesthetically beautiful. The distinction between softcore pornography and erotic photography is largely a matter of taste. Components Softcore pornography may include sexual activity between two people or masturbation. It does not contain explicit depictions of sexual penetration, cunnilingus, fellatio, or ejaculation. Depictions of erections of the penis may not be allowed (see Mull of Kintyre Test), although attitudes towards this are ever-changing. Commercial pornography can ... Exploitation Film
An exploitation film is a film that tries to succeed financially by exploiting current trends, niche genres, or lurid content. Exploitation films are generally low-quality "B movies", though some set trends, attract critical attention, become historically important, and even gain a cult following. History Exploitation films may feature suggestive or explicit sex, sensational violence, drug use, nudity, gore, destruction, rebellion, mayhem, and the bizarre. Such films were first seen in their modern form in the early 1920s, but they were popularized in the 60s and 70s with the general relaxing of censorship and cinematic taboos in the U.S. and Europe. An early example, the 1933 film Ecstasy, included nude scenes featuring the Austrian actress Hedy Lamarr. The film proved popular at the box office but caused concern for the American cinema trade association, the MPPDA. Hildegard Esper and Dwain Esper are husband and wife film directors and producers who made some of the most e ... Films Directed By Doris Wishman
A film also called a movie, motion picture, moving picture, picture, photoplay or (slang) flick is a work of visual art that simulates experiences and otherwise communicates ideas, stories, perceptions, feelings, beauty, or atmosphere through the use of moving images. These images are generally accompanied by sound and, more rarely, other sensory stimulations. The word "cinema", short for cinematography, is often used to refer to filmmaking and the film industry, and to the art form that is the result of it. Recording and transmission of film The moving images of a film are created by photographing actual scenes with a motion-picture camera, by photographing drawings or miniature models using traditional animation techniques, by means of CGI and computer animation, or by a combination of some or all of these techniques, and other visual effects. Before the introduction of digital production, series of still images were recorded on a strip of chemically sens ...
