Love Spit Love
Love Spit Love was an English–American alternative rock band founded in 1992 by English singer Richard Butler during the 1990s hiatus of the Psychedelic Furs. The band released two albums and has not been active since 2000. History When the Psychedelic Furs went on extended hiatus in 1992, Richard Butler contacted guitarist Richard Fortus, whose band, Pale Divine, had been the opener on the Psychedelic Furs' final US tour. The two began to collaborate on what Butler expected would become his first solo record. The duo enlisted drummer Frank Ferrer and Butler's brother (and Furs bandmate) Tim Butler on bass. Frank Ferrer
Frank Ferrer (born March 25, 1966) is an American musician. He is best known as the drummer for hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he played, toured, and recorded from 2006 to 2025. He was the longest tenured drummer in the band's history. Ferrer was also a member of The Psychedelic Furs, Love Spit Love as well as The Beautiful. He has recorded and worked with several high profile musicians including Robi "Draco" Rosa, Tool, Gordon Gano, PJ Harvey, Tommy Stinson, Nena, Frank Black of The Pixies, Neil Young, Perry Farrell and Cheetah Chrome of The Dead Boys. Biography Early life Born in Houston, her father was a truck driver and her mother was a housewife. "How Soon Is Now?" is a song by English rock band the Smiths, written by singer Morrissey and guitarist Johnny Marr. Originally a B-side of the 1984 single " William, It Was Really Nothing", "How Soon Is Now?" was subsequently featured on the compilation album '' Hatful of Hollow'' and on US, Canadian, Australian, and Warner UK editions of '' Meat Is Murder''.
