Love Poem (EP)
''Love Poem'' is the fifth Korean-language extended play (seventh overall) by South Korean singer-songwriter IU. The EP was released on November 18, 2019, through Kakao M. It includes the lead single and title track, "Love Poem", as well as the tracks "Above the Time" and "Blueming", which both received music videos. The EP debuted atop the Gaon Album Chart, selling over 168,000 copies in South Korea in November 2019 and had been certified platinum by the Korean Music Content Association for selling over 250,000 copies. Background and release Following the release of ''A Flower Bookmark 2'' in September 2017, IU focused on acting. In October 2018, she released "Bbibbi", to commemorate ten years since her debut. Lee Ji-eun (; born May 16, 1993), also known by her stage name IU (), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actress. She signed with Kakao M, LOEN Entertainment (now Kakao Entertainment) in 2007 as a K-pop#Trainee system, trainee and debuted as a singer at the age of fifteen with the Extended play, EP ''Lost and Found (IU EP), Lost and Found'' (2008). Gaon Music Chart
The Circle Chart (), previously known as the Gaon Music Chart or the Gaon Chart (), tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in South Korea. Founded in 2010, it is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. History Gaon Chart was launched in February 2010 by the Korea Music Content Association, under the sponsorship of the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the aim to create a domestic national chart similar to the ''Billboard'' charts of the United States and the Oricon charts of Japan. ''A Flower Bookmark'' () is the first cover extended play by South Korean singer-songwriter IU. It is also her fourth Korean-language extended play. The EP was released on May 16, 2014, the singer's birthday, by LOEN Entertainment under its imprint LOEN Tree. Unlike her previous works, ''A Flower Bookmark'' features cover versions of nostalgic K-pop songs popularized from 1980s to 1990s. The EP was successful both commercially and critically. It spawned two hit singles; the lead single "My Old Story" and "The Meaning of You". The former topped ''Billboard'' K-pop Hot 100, while the latter was ranked at the top of Gallup Korea's Song of the Year in 2014. "You & I" (Korean: 너랑 나; RR: ''Neorang Na'') is a song recorded in Korean and Japanese by South Korean singer IU from her second Korean-language studio album ''Last Fantasy'' (2011). The Korean version was released on November 29, 2011 through LOEN Entertainment, and was written and produced by Kim Eana and Lee Min-soo, respectively.
