"Loungin" is a song by American rapper LL Cool J, released on June 25, 1996 as the third and final single from his sixth studio album '' Mr. Smith''. Issued by Def Jam Recordings, the LP version was produced by Rashad "Ringo" Smith and featured backing vocals by R&B duo Terri & Monica. The Radio Remix Edit, titled "Loungin (Who Do Ya Luv)", was featured on the soundtrack to Paramount and Nickelodeon's 1997 comedy film '' Good Burger'', remixed by Trackmasters and featuring backing vocals by R&B group Total. "Loungin (Who Do Ya Luv)" was also featured in the compilation '' All World: Greatest Hits'' and also appeared in an episode of LL's sitcom, '' In the House''. Total (group)
Total is an American R&B girl group and one of the signature acts of the Bad Boy Records imprint during the mid-1990s. The group consists of founding members Kima Raynor, Keisha Spivey, and Pamela Long. Total is best known for their feature on Mase's " What You Want", as well as their hits " Kissin' You", " Can't You See" (featuring The Notorious B.I.G.), and " What About Us?" and "Trippin, both featuring Missy Elliott. Long also sung the chorus of The Notorious B.I.G.'s hit song " Hypnotize", although she was not officially credited. Trackmasters
The Trackmasters, also known as Poke & Tone, is an American hip hop production outfit composed of Poke (Jean-Claude Olivier born January 21, 1970; Brooklyn, New York ) and Tone (Samuel Barnes born January 20, 1969; Brooklyn, New York). Active from the mid-late 1980s to the early 2000s, the group was more often known as a duo, Poke & Tone; it was joined by now-former members Frank "Nitty" Pimentel, Alex Richberg and Curt Gowdy to form Trackmasters. Terri & Monica was an R&B duo from the early 1990s that featured Terri Robinson (August 12, 1970) and Monica Payne (February 22, 1969), who were members of the short-lived late 1980s New Jack Swing R&B group The Gyrlz along with third member Tara Geter. As members of The Gyrlz, they released one album for Uptown Records under distribution from Capitol Records- 1988's ''Love Me or Leave Me''.
