Louise Erixon
Louise Erixon (born 7 April 1989) is a Swedish media commentator and politician of the Sweden Democrats party who served as the Mayor of Sölvesborg from 2019 to 2022. Biography Erixon is the daughter of Örjan Erixon and former Riksdag member of parliament Inger Lindberg (also known as Margareta Gunsdotter). She has described herself as coming from a Christian family and that her parents would read her the Bible as a child. She first joined the Sweden Democrats in 2006 and became the local leader for the Sweden Democratic Youth (SDU) in Gävleborg in 2007. Sölvesborg Municipality
Sölvesborg Municipality (''Sölvesborgs kommun'') is a municipality in Blekinge County in South Sweden in southern Sweden. It borders to Bromölla Municipality, Olofström Municipality and Karlshamn Municipality. The town Sölvesborg is the seat of the municipality. The present municipality was formed in 1971 when the ''City of Sölvesborg'' was amalgamated with the rural municipalities ''Gammalstorp'' and ''Mjällby''. Iron Pipe Scandal
The iron pipe scandal (Swedish: ''järnrörsskandalen'') was a political scandal in Sweden involving individuals related to the Sweden Democrats (Swedish: ''Sverigedemokraterna'', SD). It occurred in 2010 but was only brought to mainstream public attention in 2012. The events Erik Almqvist, Kent Ekeroth and Christian Westling, all high-ranking members of the Sweden Democrats (the first two were members of parliament when the incident was uncovered, Ekeroth as their candidate as Attorney General), had been involved in a verbal altercation with comedian Soran Ismail. Footage from the incident, captured by Ekeroth, shows that Erik Almqvist had told Ismail, who is of Kurdish descent, that he "acts like a wog", argues "like a little pussy" and that Sweden is "my country, not yours". Erik Anders Almqvist (born 24 May 1982) is a Swedish former politician. As a former member of the Sweden Democrats, he was member of the Swedish Riksdag from 2010 until his resignation on 21 February 2013. Career Prior to becoming a member of the Sweden Democratic Youth, Almqvist was first a member of the Young Left and later of the Liberal Youth of Sweden from 1998 to 2004. From 2007 to 2010, he was chairman of the Sweden Democratic Youth.
