Louisa Rix
Louisa MacGregor Rix (born 2 February 1955) is a British former actress of theatre, film and television. She is perhaps best known for her role as Kevin the Teenager's mum, Mrs Patterson, in the BBC TV series, ''Harry Enfield & Chums'', and its spin-off film, '' Kevin and Perry Go Large''. In 2012 she founded the Interior Design company Forbes Rix Design with her business partner Natalie Forbes. Early life Rix was born in Kensington, London to actors Brian Rix and Elspet Gray. She has two brothers, one of whom is children's author and TV producer Jamie Rix. Her sister Shelley was born with Down's Syndrome, and died in 2005. Rix studied drama at LAMDA and acted for many years on TV and in the theatre. Peter Cheeseman
Peter Barrie Cheeseman, CBE (27 January 1932, Cowplain, Hampshire – 27 April 2010, Stoke-on-Trent) was a British theatre director who is credited with having pioneered "theatre in the round". Melvyn Kenneth Smith (3 December 1952 – 19 July 2013) was an English comedian, actor and filmmaker. ''Whose Life Is It Anyway?'' is a play by Brian Clark adapted from his 1972 television play of the same title, which starred Ian McShane. The stage version premiered at the Greenwich Theatre in SE London before moving in 1978 to the Mermaid Theatre in London, and subsequently opened on Broadway in 1979. The play involves a sculptor who is paralysed. Plot Set in a hospital room, the action revolves around Ken Harrison (Claire Harrison in some later productions), a sculptor by profession, who was paralysed from the neck down ( quadriplegia) in a car accident and is determined to be allowed to die.
