''Loud Rocks'' is a rap rock compilation album by American hip hop record label Loud Records, composed of remixes, covers and collaborations between rock and hip hop music artists. It was released on September 5, 2000 in four editions: one with explicit lyrics, a clean version, a Japanese and a Canadian version (each including a bonus track). Recording sessions took place at Capitol Studios, Track Record, Studio 56, Encore Studios, NRG Studios, 123 Studios, Conway Studios, Westlake Audio, Stankonia Recording, Pyramid Sound Recording Studios, Olympic Studios, The Blue Room, Machine Sound, and Spin Studios. Capitol Studios
Capitol Studios is a recording studio located at the landmark Capitol Records Building in Hollywood, California, United States. The studios, which opened in 1956, were initially the primary recording studios for the American record label Capitol Records. While they are still regularly used by Capitol recording artists, the facilities began to be made available to artists outside the label during the late 1960s to the early 1970s. Barnes () is a district in South West London, England, part of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Incubus (band)
Incubus is an American Rock music, rock band from Calabasas, California. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist Brandon Boyd, lead guitarist Mike Einziger, and drummer José Pasillas while enrolled in Calabasas High School and later expanded to include bassist Alex Katunich, Alex "Dirk Lance" Katunich, and Gavin "DJ Lyfe" Koppel; the latter two were eventually replaced by bassist Ben Kenney and DJ Kilmore, respectively. Bret Hadley "Epic" Mazur (born August 31, 1970) is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, and record producer. He is best known as a founder and former frontman of the rap rock band Crazy Town. Early life Bret Mazur grew up in Brooklyn, New York, before his parents moved across the country to Hollywood, Los Angeles. Craig Anthony Bullock (born December 17, 1970), also known by his stage name DJ Homicide, is an American musician, DJ, rapper, singer, record producer and radio personality. Bryan David "Butch" Vig (born August 2, 1955) is an American musician, record producer, and songwriter who is the drummer and co-producer of the rock band Garbage. Producer of the diamond selling Nirvana album ''Nevermind'' (1991), Vig also produced for several other alternative rock acts of the 1990s, including the Smashing Pumpkins, L7, and Sonic Youth.
