''Lost Girl'' is a Canadian supernatural drama television series that premiered on Showcase on September 12, 2010. The series was created by Michelle Lovretta and is produced by Jay Firestone, Prodigy Pictures Inc., and Keyframe Digital Productions, Inc., with the participation of the Canadian Television Fund (Canada Media Fund), and in association with Shaw Media. Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born 31 January 1974) is a Canadian actress best known for her role as Bo Dennis, the protagonist of the Showcase television series '' Lost Girl'' (2010–2015). Personal life Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic, and Ilkay Silk, an actress, director, producer, playwright, educator, and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a "Turkish Cypriot-English expat". Some of Anna's earliest memories were of going to play rehearsals and watching her mother work. Silk appeared in several commercials as a child. She graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. John Fawcett (born March 5, 1968) is a Canadian director, writer, and producer of film and television. Alongside Graeme Manson, he co-created and is a director for the award-winning Temple Street Productions television series ''Orphan Black''. Career Fawcett began his career making commercials before moving on to direct music videos for bands including Cowboy Junkies, Lori Yates, and Jeff Healey. He then directed two award-winning short films ''Half Nelson'' in 1991 and ''Scratch Ticket'' in 1994. Robert Lieberman
Robert Lieberman (July 16, 1947 – July 1, 2023) was an American film and television director. Career Lieberman was the founder of the commercial production company Harmony Pictures and directed close to two thousand commercials. He received many Clio nominations and won 29. Lieberman in 1980 was the first winner of the DGA Award for Best Commercial Director. He was nominated another three times for the DGA Award and in 1996 won his second award. Érik Canuel (January 21, 1961 – June 15, 2024) was a Canadian film and television director from Montreal, Quebec. Canuel, the son of actor Yvan Canuel, began his career in the mid-1980s making music videos for such artists as Paul Piché, Sass Jordan, Norman Iceberg, Vilain Pingouin and Sylvain Cossette.
