''Lost'' is an extended play released on 14 April 2023 by English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys on the band's own label x2. The EP features four tracks that were unused from sessions for their 2016 album ''Super''. The digital release includes a fifth track, "Living in the Past", a new song about Vladimir Putin. Reception Writing for ''The Daily Telegraph'', Emma Harrison recognised this as one of the albums of the week, rating it four out of five stars, commenting on the mixture of both political commentary and danceable music. Pet Shop Boys are an English synth-pop duo formed in London in 1981. ''Super'' is the thirteenth studio album by English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys. It was released on 1 April 2016 on the band's own label, x2, through Kobalt Label Services. ''Super'' debuted at number three on the UK Albums Chart, and it was number one on ''Billboard'' Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, while lead single " The Pop Kids" topped the ''Billboard'' Dance Club Songs chart. Background and composition ''Super'' was the second in a trilogy of albums produced by Stuart Price, preceded by ''Electric'' (2013) and followed by '' Hotspot'' (2020). As on the first album, the music on ''Super'' was purely electronic, with no additional instruments. x2 (pronounced "times two") is a British record label set up in 2013 by Pet Shop Boys for the release of their own music. x2 history On 14 March 2013, the Pet Shop Boys officially left Parlophone after 28 years and entered into a new arrangement with Kobalt Label Services for the release of their 12th album, their first release on their own music label. Tennant said at the time, "We'd like to thank everyone we've worked with at Parlophone over the last 28 years both in the UK and abroad. When we signed to the label in 1985 we had no idea how long and successful a relationship we were embarking on.
