''The Losers'' is a 2010 American action film and an adaptation, by Peter Berg and James Vanderbilt, of the Vertigo Comic series of the same name by Andy Diggle and Jock. Directed by Sylvain White, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Idris Elba, and Chris Evans. "Loser" is a single by American musician Beck. It was written by Beck and record producer Carl Stephenson, who both produced the song with Tom Rothrock. "Loser" was initially released as Beck's second single by independent record label Bong Load Custom Records on 12-inch vinyl format with catalog number BL5 on March 8, 1993. When it was first released independently, "Loser" began receiving airplay on various modern rock stations, and the song's popularity eventually led to a major-label record deal with Geffen Records-subsidiary DGC Records. ''The Losers'' is a comic book series written by Andy Diggle and illustrated by Jock, and published by the Vertigo imprint of DC Comics. It ran for 32 issues from August 2003 to March 2006. The idea was very loosely based on the original '' The Losers'' for DC Comics, a group of World War II soldiers, although Diggle maintains he has never read a single issue of the original series. The series was adapted into a film of the same name that was released in 2010. Losers are a British band consisting of DJ Eddy Temple-Morris, multi-instrumentalist Tom Bellamy (formerly of The Cooper Temple Clause), guitarist Paul Mullen (formerly of Yourcodenameis:milo and The Automatic). During their live performances they get supported by Dean "Denzel" Pearson (drums) and Sammi Doll (also keyboardist of Berlin/LA based band IAMX) and Bullet Height). Their former drummer was Mark Heron (formerly of Oceansize). History Losers formed in 2007 as the remix project of Temple-Morris and Bellamy. Loser (mountain)
Loser () is the name of a mountain in the Ausseerland in Austria which has an elevation of 1,838 metres above sea level. The mountain is the most prominent landmark of the Ausseerland. Among the locals, it is also known as the ''Ausseer Ohrwaschl'' (Aussee Ear) because of its shape. It is possible to almost reach the peak by car by using a toll road of 9 km. There is an extensive parking lot in front of the Loser Restaurant at an elevation of 1600 m, from where one can embark on various tours. The ' (1643 m / 250 m × 100 m) is located close to the restaurant and is an attractive target for hiking which can be reached with just a little walking. From there onwards, one can reach the peak by passing the ''Loser-Fenster'' (Loser Window), a natural rock gate. Loser (band)
Loser was an American alternative rock band which was active from 2001 to 2006. Guitarist John 5 of Marilyn Manson fame formed Loser along with his friend and producer Bob Marlette. Marlette recommended Texas singer Joe Grah, who had already had success fronting the Texas alternative rock group Jibe, as a potential vocalist for the band. John flew to Texas to see Jibe in concert and immediately invited Grah to join. The group recruited fellow Texas musician Charles Lee Salvaggio on bass, as well as former The Feds drummer Glendon Crain. With the lineup secured, Loser began working on their debut album ''Just Like You''. The band played its first show in Hollywood, California on June 9, 2005.
