Los Thuthanaka
''Los Thuthanaka'' is the debut studio album by the Bolivian-American duo of the same name, consisting of siblings Chuquimamani-Condori and Joshua Chuquimia Crampton. It was self-released as a surprise album on Bandcamp on March 22, 2025. The album reimagines various traditional genres of Andean music from the duo's Aymara heritage, such as huayño, caporal, and kullawada, in experimental electronic forms. The album received critical acclaim upon its release. Background The follow-up to Chuquimamani-Condori's 2023 album ''DJ E'' and Joshua Chuquimia Crampton's 2024 album ''Estrella Por Estrella'', ''Los Thuthanaka'' marks the siblings' first full-length project as the eponymous duo. Chuquimamani-Condori
Elysia Chuquimia Paula Crampton, also known as Chuquimamani-Condori, is an American electronic musician, producer, poet, and composer. Her work touches upon themes of Aymara people, Aymara survival and Latinx, Latino culture, LGBT and Aymara femme heritage, science fiction, references to Christianity, Christian faith and ontology, and frequent utilization of samples and arrangements from varying sources. Career Elysia Crampton began making music under the name E+E ("And & And" in Spanish) in the early 2000s. E+E consisted of several performers and contributing writers, editors, and DJ mixes made with a keyboard, A cappella#Recording artists, acapellas, and a Sampler (musical instrument), sampler. In 2015, Crampton ceased using the E+E alias and released her first studio album, ''American Drift'', under her real name.
