Tifariti (Berber language, Berber: Tifariti, ar, تيفاريتي) is an oasis town located in north-eastern Western Sahara, east of the Berm (Western Sahara), Moroccan Berm, from Smara and north of the Mauritania–Western Sahara border, border with Mauritania. It is part of what Polisario Front calls the ''Free Zone (region), Liberated Territories'' and Morocco call the ''Buffer Zone''.
