Lorik Sena
The Lorik Sena was a caste-based private army with its headquarters in Jaitipur village of the Nalanda district of Bihar. The majority of its members hailed from the Yadav caste, who were organised by its founder Baiju Yadav, to launch an armed struggle against the Naxalites. It was another group after ''Samajwadi Shoshit Sena'' which recruited primarily from the Ahir-Yadav community. According to local folktales, Lorik was a legendary hero of the Yadav ''raiyyats'' (peasant who waged a struggle against the tyranny of repressive kings and the landlords and held the Yadav dignity intact. These ''Senas'' were based primarily on the name of such community figures, either realistic or mythical who were venerated by whole community. Ahir
Ahir or Aheer are a community of traditionally non-elite pastoralists in India, most members of which identify as being of the Indian Yadav community because they consider the two terms to be synonymous. The Ahirs are variously described as a caste, a clan, a community, a race and a tribe. The traditional occupations of Ahirs are cattle-herding and agriculture. The Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD; translation: ''National People's Party'') is an Indian political party, based in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Kerala. The party was founded in 1997 by Lalu Prasad Yadav. The party's support base has traditionally been Other Backward Classes, Dalits and Muslims and it is considered a political champion of the lower castes. In 2008, RJD received the status of recognized national level party following its performance in north-eastern states. RJD was derecognised as a national party on 30 July 2010. Bhumi Sena
Bhumi Sena was a private army which operated in the Patna, Nalanda, Jehanabad, and Gaya regions of Bihar, India in the 1980s, made up of members of the Kurmi caste. History Bhumi Sena was formed by Kurmi landowners in 1982, in response to the murders of a number of prominent landlords and political agitation among Dalit labourers by the leftist groups CPI (ML) People's War, CPI (ML) Party Unity, and the MKSS. Following its formation, the group gathered resources and arms from Kurmi households, and encouraged Kurmi youths to join. They continued to collect protection money from Kurmi families in the regions they were active in.
