Lori Kuechler
Lori Kuechler is an American politician who served as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives from September 19, 2022, to January 9, 2023. Kuechler was selected by local Democratic officials and appointed by the Multnomah, Clackamas, and Hood River County Commissions to replace Anna Williams, who retired to take a position with the Oregon System of Care Advisory Council. Kuechler said she had no intention of seeking re-election. Kuechler is a consultant for nonprofits in Oregon and a professor of Liberal Arts and Interdisciplinary Studies at Southern New Hampshire University. Jeff Helfrich
Jeffrey Allen Helfrich (born April 1968) is a Republican member of the Oregon House of Representatives. He represents the 52nd district, which covers all of Hood River County and parts of Clackamas, Multnomah and Wasco counties. Early life Helfrich served as an airman in the United States Air Force during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. He then was a sergeant with the Portland Police Bureau for 25 years. Political career Helfrich served on the Cascade Locks City Council from his appointment in 2011 until November 2012. He was again appointed in February 2013 and served until June 2015, when he resigned and moved to Hood River. On November 6, 2017, incumbent Oregon State Representative Mark Johnson resigned. Anna K. Williams (born 1980) is an American politician. She is a Democrat who represented the 52nd district in the Oregon House of Representatives. Biography Anna Williams was born in 1980 in Wyoming. She attended the University of Kansas, where she earned a BS in Psychology in 2002 and a master's degree in Social Welfare Administration in 2005. In 2009, she moved to Hood River, Oregon where she lives with her husband and two sons. She works remotely for Simmons University as an adjunct professor and academic advisor. Political career In 2018, Williams ran for the District 52 seat in the Oregon House of Representatives. She won the Democratic primary with 76.9% of the vote, and defeated Republican incumbent Jeff Helfrich in the general election with 51.4% of the vote. She was sworn in on January 14, 2019. Sandy is a city located in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States, settled 1853 and named after the nearby Sandy River. Located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range, the city serves as the western gateway to the Mount Hood Corridor, and is located approximately east of Portland.
