Lord Ashcroft International Business School
The Anglia Ruskin University Faculty of Business and Law (formerly Lord Ashcroft International Business School; LAIBS) is a faculty of Anglia Ruskin University (ARU). The faculty has two schools: the School of Economics, Finance and Law and the School of Management. Currently, ARU has business schools in Cambridge, Chelmsford, Peterborough, and London. The Lord Ashcroft Buildings are located at ARU Cambridge and ARU Chelmsford. Lord Michael Ashcroft, then chancellor of the university, donated ten million pounds to construct both business school buildings. Prince Edward inaugurated the Chelmsford building in 2003. The Lord Ashcroft Building in Cambridge was opened in 2011. The facade of the business school in Cambridge carries the former name of the business school. Kim Howells
Kim Scott Howells (born 27 November 1946) is a Welsh Labour Party politician. He was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Pontypridd from 1989 to 2010, and held a number of ministerial positions within the Blair and Brown governments. John Mackintosh Hall
The John Mackintosh Hall, known as the John Mac Hall to locals, is the main cultural centre in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. It consists of a public library, a theatre, conference hall, and several multi-purpose spaces. History The hall was built on the site the old military Grand Stores as that building had been damaged by the explosion in 1951 caused by RFA Bedenham which killed 13 people. Geraldine Finlayson
Geraldine Finlayson (born 31 October 1960) is a Gibraltarian Deputy Head of Heritage, as well as Director of the Institute for Gibraltarian Studies and Chief Laboratory Scientist of the Gibraltar Museum. She was Director of the John Mackintosh Hall until October 2011. She has played a major role in developing the "Gibraltar method" of archaeological research, especially that carried out underwater, and is one of a team of scientists who have made major discoveries about the nature of Neanderthal culture. John Burnside (writer)
John Burnside FRSL FRSE (born 19 March 1955) is a Scottish writer. He is one of only three poets (the others being Ted Hughes and Sean O'Brien) to have won both the T. S. Eliot Prize and the Forward Poetry Prize for the same book (''Black Cat Bone''). Life and works Burnside was born in Dunfermline and raised in Cowdenbeath and Corby.
