Loquito Por Ti
''Loquito por ti'' (English: ''Crazy About You''), is a Colombian telenovela that premiered on Caracol Televisión on 10 October 2018. The telenovela is based on the life of Colombian tropical music singers, Rodolfo Aicardi, and Gustavo "El Loko" Quintero. Plot The series revolves around the life of Camilo and Juancho, two friends who work in the Maestro Guzmán's orchestra, both share the dream of one day becoming the most recognized musicians in the tropical genre. In this long journey to fulfill their dream, they meet Daniela, a woman of good economic position who wants to be famous and live music as they do. Daniela will have to hide from her family that she is part of a musical orchestra, and Camilo and Juancho that she is from a family of high social class. But everything gets complicated when Camilo and Juancho fall in love with Daniela, that's when their friendship and dreams of being famous will be truncated by the love of a woman. Gustavo Quintero
Gustavo de Jesus Quintero Morales, better known as "El Loko", (23 December 1939 – 18 December 2016) was a Colombian singer-songwriter. He is considered one of the great representatives of the Colombian tropical music. Early life Quintero studied at the Édgar Poe Restrepo school in Medellín and from an early age he has shown his musical skills. He participated in choirs of churches and received classes at the school of Fine Arts in Medellín. "El Loko", as he was known, studied Economics at the University of Antioquia, which he didn't finish. He was called "Loko" for his stage antics. Career When he lived in Cali, he formed the band Los Gatos. He was also a singer with The Teen Agers. Upon his return to Medellín he formed the group Los Hispanos. Alfredo Gutiérrez (musician)
Alfredo de Jesús Gutiérrez Vital (born April 17, 1943), known as Alfredo Gutiérrez, is a Colombian accordion player, composer, bandleader, and singer. He was a founding member of Los Corraleros de Majagual, and led the group until 1965. He later released albums with Los Caporales Del Magdalena, with his band the Estrellas, and as a solo artist. Gutiérrez won the "King of Vallenato" prize at the Vallenato Legend Festival three times. He is known for his ability to play the accordion with his feet. César Mora
Cesar Mora (born October 2, 1961) is a leading musician and actor in Colombia. He was born in Cali, and later spent fourteen years as part of the famed Son Del Pueblo band. Cesar composed the songs in the Colombian musical "Y Se Armo La Mojiganga" in which he also played the main character. His most recent albums are recorded with The Maria Canela Band under the musical direction of Luis Arroyo. His most notable film role is Sargento Juvenal Garcia on '' El Zorro, la espada y la rosa''. Tropical music () is a term in the Latin music industry that refers to music genres deriving from or influenced by the Spanish-speaking areas of the Caribbean.
