Lootera Sultan
''Lootera'' (; ) is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language period romantic drama film directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and partially based on author O. Henry's 1907 short story ''The Last Leaf''. It is the second film directed by Motwane after the critically acclaimed ''Udaan'' (2010). Set in the era of the 1950s, against the backdrop of thZamindari Abolition Actby the newly independent India, it tells the story of a young conman posing as an archaeologist and the daughter of a Bengali zamindar. The film stars Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. Vikramaditya Motwane
Vikramaditya Motwane (born 6 December 1976) is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter who works in Hindi cinema. He is known for films like '' Udaan'' (2010), '' Lootera'' (2013) and ''AK vs AK'' (2020). His directorial debut '' Udaan'' (2010) was selected to compete in the Un Certain Regard category at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival and also won seven Filmfare awards. Barun Chanda is an Indian Bengali advertising professional, actor and author based in the city of Kolkata. He is mostly remembered for his role in Satyajit Ray's '' Seemabaddha''.
