Loona (group)
Loona (stylized in all caps or as LOOΠΔ; ; , ) is a South Korean girl group created by Blockberry Creative. The group is composed of eleven members: Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, Vivi, Yeojin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry, Yves, Go Won, and HyeJu. Originally a twelve-member group, Chuu was removed from the line-up on November 25, 2022, due to a contract dispute. The remaining members of the group departed Blockberry Creative later that year, putting the group on an indefinite hiatus. The group debuted as a full ensemble on August 19, 2018, with the extended play (EP) '' +'' supported by the lead single "Favorite" and the title track " Hi High". The group debut was preceded by an 18-month-long debut project, with monthly promotional singles, each revealing another member of the group. The EP was the second highest selling debut album by a girl group in 2018 with 52,823 physical copies sold. It has sold over 107,248 physical copies combined as of May 2020. ''Inkigayo'' (; English title: ''The Music Trend'', previously ''Popular Song'') is a South Korean music program broadcast by SBS. It airs live every Sunday. The show features some of the latest and most popular artists who perform on stage. It is broadcast from the SBS Open Hall in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul. ''Love & Live'' is the debut extended play by South Korean girl group Loona 1/3, a sub-unit of Loona (Idalui Sonyeo; lit. ''"Girl of the Month"'') consisting of members HeeJin, HyunJin, HaSeul, and ViVi. It was released on March 13, 2017, by Blockberry Creative and distributed by CJ E&M. The album contains five tracks, including the title track of the same name.
