Bruce Look
Bruce Michael Look (born June 9, 1943) is an American former professional baseball player and catcher who appeared in 59 games played in Major League Baseball as a member of the Minnesota Twins. The native of Lansing, Michigan, threw right-handed, batted left-handed and was listed as tall and . He is the younger brother of Dean Look, who played for the Chicago White Sox in 1961, and also played professional football and was a longtime on-field official in the National Football League. Like his brother, Bruce Look played football and baseball for Michigan State University before serving in the United States Army. He then signed his first pro baseball contract. In 1968, his only MLB season, Look appeared in 41 games in the field, 29 as the Twins' starting catcher, playing behind veteran John Roseboro, like Look a left-handed batter. Dean Zachary Look (born July 23, 1937) is an American former American football, football and baseball player. He played college football as quarterback at Michigan State University and professional football for the New York Titans (football), New York Titans of the American Football League (AFL). He was also a Major League Baseball (MLB) outfielder, and American football official, on-field official in the National Football League (NFL). He spent 29 years as an NFL official: first as line judge in 1972-77 and then as side judge from 1978 until he retired after the 2000 season. He was the side judge who signaled touchdown on the historic Joe Montana to Dwight Clark pass better known as "The Catch (American football), The Catch" during the 1981–82 NFL playoffs, 1982 NFC Championship game between the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers. Kairi Look (born 19 April 1983) is an Estonian children’s writer and author of short prose. Biography Kairi Look graduated in 2005 University of Tartu with a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy, and in 2008 with a master's degree as a children's rehabilitation specialist from the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands. She has studied in the same field in Finland and the University of Ghent, in Belgium, and completed a study on theatre-specific creative writing in Tallinn. She has worked at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris and as a publisher of academic literature in Amsterdam. In addition to children´s literature, she writes prose and book critique, and translates fiction from Dutch to Estonian. She has received the annual prize of the literary magazine Looming for the best novella (Relapse, Looming nr 12/2017). She has been a member of the Estonian Writers’ Union from 2015. Simon Look is a retired Israeli football (soccer) forward who played professionally in Israel and in the American Soccer League and Major Indoor Soccer League. Professional Look spent his youth with the Maccabi Jaffa F.C. Maccabi Jaffa Football Club was one of the first football teams in Israel.
