''Cocoa necrosis virus'' (CoNV) is a plant pathogenic virus of the genus ''nepovirus'' that infects ''Theobroma cacao'' en natura causing cacao necrosis disease. CoNV is considered synonymous with Strain S of cacao swollen shoot virus.
