''The Long Way Home'' () is a 2015 South Korean period war comedy film written and directed by Cheon Sung-il, about the friendship between a South Korean and a North Korean soldier during the Korean War. Plot Set during the Korean War and 3 days before a truce takes place. Nam-Bok (Sol Kyung-Gu) is a South Korean soldier. He was a simple farmer before his conscription into the military. Nam-Bok then receives order to deliver a top secret document at a set time and place, but an attack by the North Korean army causes Nam-Bok to lose the document. Gerald Eaton (born November 22, 1971) is a Jamaican-Canadian R&B singer-songwriter and music producer, also known by his stage name Jarvis Church. Career Eaton is the lead singer for the R&B-pop group The Philosopher Kings, which reached its peak popularity in the 1990s. During the group's ten-year hiatus, Eaton began a solo career, releasing the album ''Shake It Off'' in 2002 under the stage name Jarvis Church, derived from two parallel streets in Toronto, Ontario. The Donots are a German punk rock band from Germany, formed in 1993 in Ibbenbüren. Band history Early years (1993–1998) The Donots were founded in 1993 by Ingo Knollmann on lead vocals, his brother Guido Knollmann on guitar, Jan-Dirk Poggemann on bass, Jens "Stone" Grimstein on guitar and Jens Trippner on drums.
