Long View Farm
Long View Farm Studios was a music recording studio located in North Brookfield, Massachusetts, North Brookfield, Massachusetts that was founded in 1974 by Gilbert Scott Markle, a professor at Clark University, on his farm property. It was the location of recordings by many well-known musicians and bands, and it was used by the Rolling Stones as a rehearsal studio in 1981. Markle died on March 20, 2015 at the age of 74. A recording studio is a specialized facility for Sound recording and reproduction, recording and Audio mixing, mixing of instrumental or vocal musical performances, spoken words, and other sounds. The Ocean Blue
The Ocean Blue is an American indie pop band formed in Hershey, Pennsylvania, in 1986. Its original members included David Schelzel on lead vocals/guitar, Steve Lau on keyboards/saxophone, Bobby Mittan on bass guitar and Rob Minnig on drums and vocals. Early career The members of the Ocean Blue first met in junior high school. They cut a series of demos while in high school, with Scott Stouffer sitting in on drums. They managed to get two of these earliest recordings, "On Growing Up" and "Wounds of a Friend", included on a local radio station compilation in late 1986. The compilation also included very early work from noted local artists the Innocence Mission, who were friends and mentors of the Ocean Blue. Bad Brains are an American punk rock band formed in Washington, D.C., in 1976. ''I Against I'' is the third studio album by American rock band Bad Brains. It was released on November 21, 1986 through SST Records with the catalog number SST 065. The best-selling album in the band's catalog, ''I Against I'' finds the band branching out from their early hardcore punk style to touch on funk, soul, reggae and heavy metal. It is also included in the book ''1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die''. The title track was a Paul Rachman-directed video (Rachman would go on to direct the documentary film '' American Hardcore''). Sevendust is an American Rock music, rock band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1994 by bassist Vinnie Hornsby, drummer Morgan Rose and guitarist John Connolly (musician), John Connolly. After their first demo, lead vocalist Lajon Witherspoon and guitarist Clint Lowery joined the group. Snot is an American nu metal band from Santa Barbara, California. Formed in 1995, the band released their only studio album '' Get Some'' with founding vocalist Lynn Strait in 1997 and disbanded after his death in 1998.
