Long Ping Station
Long Ping () is an MTR station located in the northern part of Yuen Long Town to the southeast of Long Ping Estate, in the New Territories of Hong Kong. The station is elevated over Yuen Long Nullah. There are two public transport interchanges on the northeast and south sides of the station. There is also cycle parking nearby. A network of footbridges connects the station to Long Ping Estate, Yuen Long Plaza and other nearby housing estates. History Long Ping and Yuen Long stations were built under a combined contract, numbered CC-202, which was awarded to the AMEC-Hong Kong Construction Joint Venture. The contract, worth HK$1.76 billion, commenced in September 1999. A topping-out ceremony for both stations was held on 24 May 2002. Tuen Ma Line
The Tuen Ma line () is a commuter rail / rapid transit line that forms part of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system in Hong Kong. It is in length, making it the longest line of the MTR network. It has a total of 27 stations, more than any other in the MTR system. It is indicated in on the MTR map. The West Rail line () was a commuter rail / rapid transit line that formed part of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system in Hong Kong until 27 June 2021. Tuen Mun is an MTR station in Tuen Mun, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is the western terminus of the . The station is elevated over the Tuen Mun River, near the Town Park in the centre of Tuen Mun New Town. Tuen Mun station is an interchange station with the Tuen Mun stop and Ho Tin stop. A public transport interchange adjacent to the station gives passengers direct access to the station concourse via escalators and stairs. History Tuen Mun station is adjacent to the former site of San Fat Estate, the first public housing estate in Tuen Mun, which was demolished in 2001 because of its age, and to provide a construction site for the station. Wu Kai Sha is the northeastern terminus of the of the MTR rail transit system in Hong Kong. It is located between Sai Sha Road and Sha On Street in , also identified with Wu Kai Sha to its west and northwest, serving the many housing estates and schools nearby. Sha Tin To Central Link
The Sha Tin to Central Link (abbreviated SCL; ) was an expansion project of the MTR public transport network in Hong Kong. It was divided into two sections and expanded the network’s Passenger rail terminology#Heavy rail, heavy rail lines. The first section, named "Tuen Ma line (Phase 1)”, runs from Tai Wai station in the New Territories to Hung Hom station in Kowloon. The Tai Wai–Hung Hom segment connected the Ma On Shan line and West Rail line, forming the new Tuen Ma line. Operation of the Tai Wai to Kai Tak section began on 14 February 2020.
