By mid-2003 Raney had made them both partners (49% of the company between them), allowing them to run daily operations while he stayed in Texarkana. In March 2004 a Lone Star Music retail store was opened in the historic Gruene district, which is located within New Braunfels city limits. A second retail store was opened in Kerrville, Texas in September 2007, but was closed the following year. Micky & the Motorcars is a Red dirt (music), red dirt band formed in Stanley, Idaho, now based in Austin, Texas. They have released nine albums, including two live albums. Background The two founding members, Micky and Gary Braun, are the sons of outlaw country and western swing musician Muzzie Braun of Stanley, Idaho, and the brothers of Cody Braun and Willy Braun of the Texas-based roots rock band Reckless Kelly (band), Reckless Kelly. Terri Ann Hendrix is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and independent artist who has been writing and performing an eclectic mix of Americana genre, encompassing folk, pop, country, blues, and jazz, since 1990. James Robert "Bob" Wills (March 6, 1905 – May 13, 1975) was an American musician, songwriter, and bandleader. Considered by music authorities as the founder of Western swing, he was known widely as the King of Western Swing (although Spade Cooley self-promoted the moniker "King of Western Swing" from 1942 to 1969). He was also noted for punctuating his music with his trademark "ah-haa" calls. Todd Daniel Snider (born October 11, 1966) is an American singer-songwriter whose music incorporates elements of folk, rock, blues, alt country, and funk. Early career Snider was born in Portland, Oregon and grew up in nearby Beaverton, where he lived until he graduated from Beaverton High School in 1985. After high school, he moved to Santa Rosa, California to attend Santa Rosa Junior College. He only lasted one semester, but while there, he learned to play the harmonica.
