London Buses route SL6, formerly London Buses route X68, is a Transport for London contracted Superloop express bus route in London, England. Running between Russell Square and West Croydon bus station, it is operated by Arriva London. The route partially parallels routes 68 and 468. It runs towards Russell Square in the morning peak, and towards West Croydon in the evening peak. History Route X68 commenced on 27 October 1986 as a peak-hour, express version of route 68 operating between Russell Square and West Croydon bus station with no stops made between West Norwood and Waterloo. It was operated by London Regional Transport's Norwood bus garage with Leyland Olympians fitted with high back seats. As part of the privatisation of London bus services, in January 1995 it was taken over by Arriva London. London Buses route 188 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between North Greenwich bus station and Tottenham Court Road station, it is operated by London Central, a subsidary of Go-Ahead London. BCI Bus
BCI is a bus and coach importer headquartered in Kewdale, Perth, Western Australia. It was established by former Hino dealer Ron Nazzari in 1991 as a small family-run operation. It initially imported buses from Malaysia, both fully assembled and in knocked down form. In 2006, it moved production to China. In May 2011, BCI opened the 48,000 square metre Xiamen Feng Tai Bus and Coach International factory in Xiamen, Fujian Province, China. It sells buses in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. ''Buses'' is a monthly magazine published in the United Kingdom that primarily focuses on the British bus and coach industry. Founded in 1949, the magazine was originally published by Ian Allan Publishing, however from March 2012 onwards, it has been published by Key Publishing after their takeover of the former. The current editor is James Day and is published on the third Thursday of each month. The magazine is accompanied by a yearbook published in August every year for the next year. Since 2014, the publisher operates annual show every August called 'Buses Festival' at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire. Volvo B7TL
The Volvo B7TL is a low-floor double-decker bus chassis which was launched in 1999 and replaced the 2-axle version of the Volvo Olympian (its 3-axle version was replaced by the Volvo Super Olympian). It was built as the British bus operators seemed hesitant to purchase the B7L double decker with a long rear overhang (although some have since entered service in Glasgow, Scotland as 12 m long double deckers). The B7TL chassis was designed by the Leyland Product Developments consultancy based at the Leyland Technical Centre. It was initially built in Irvine, North Ayrshire, Scotland. In 2000, production was gradually transferred to Sweden. In mid-2004, production of the MkII version of the B7TL was started. The Wright Eclipse Gemini is a Low-floor bus, low-floor double-decker bus body that was built by Wrightbus between 2001 and 2021, based on the single-decker Wright Eclipse design.
