London Buses Route 433
London Buses route 433 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Addington Village Interchange and Croydon, it is operated by Transport UK London Bus. History The route was created as a "Tram feeder" service with the opening of Tramlink in 2000. It was numbered T33. In 2015, the route was renumbered 433 as part of wider changes that also saw the withdrawal of routes T31 and T32. In July 2018, service frequencies at all times were reduced. On 2 November 2019, the route was changed to terminate at Park Street instead of West Croydon bus station. In 2021, Abellio announced it intended to introduce Caetano e.City Gold buses on the route. Croydon is a large town in South London, England, south of Charing Cross. East Croydon is a railway station, tram stop and associated bus station in Croydon, Greater London, England. It is located in Travelcard Zone 5. Tramlink, previously Croydon Tramlink and currently branded as London Trams, is a light rail tram system serving Croydon and surrounding areas in South London, England. It is the first operational tram system serving the London region since 1952. South Croydon in south London is the area surrounding the valley south of central Croydon and running as far south as the former Red Deer public house on the Brighton Road. It is bounded by Waddon to the West and Selsdon and Sanderstead to the East. It is part of the South Croydon ( CR2) post town and in the London Borough of Croydon. Selsdon is a village in South London, England, located in the London Borough of Croydon, in the ceremonial county of Greater London. Prior to 1965 it was in the historic county of Surrey. It now has the character of a suburb and sits at a high elevation, bordering downland. History Selsdon was historically a rural area; most of it was part of Selsdon Park Estate, once well known as hunting and shooting grounds. Forestdale is a residential neighbourhood of southeast London in the London Borough of Croydon. It is sometimes considered to be part of Addington, its ancient and ecclesiastical parish. It is located south of Upper Shirley, east of Selsdon, south-west of Addington's historic centre, north-west of New Addington and north of Farleigh and is east of West Wickham.
