Logi Pedro
Logi Pedro (born August 29, 1992) is an Icelandic-Angolan musician and record producer. He released his first solo album "Litlir svartir strákar" in 2018 to critical acclaim in Iceland. The lead single "Dúfan mín" received platinum status and was nominated as Song of the Year at the 2019 Icelandic Music Awards. Logi Pedro was a founding member of Icelandic band Retro Stefson. He has produced records for a number of international acts, such as GusGus, Loah and Emmsjé Gauti. Logi Pedro hosts the television show "Börn þjóða" on Stöð 2. Logi Pedro also co-wrote and starred in the documentary ''Stóra myndin: Covid og heimsbyggðin'' on RÚV. Retro Stefson
Retro Stefson was an Icelandic alternative/pop-band formed in Reykjavík, active from 2006 to 2016. The band was signed to Vertigo-Berlin/Universal. Retro Stefson released their debut album ''Montaña'' exclusively in Iceland in October 2008 and their second album, '' Kimbabwe'', in October 2010 on Kimi Records. The album also became their European debut in May 2011 on the German subsidiary of Vertigo Records Vertigo Records is a British record company. GusGus is an electronic music band from Reykjavík, Iceland. Although initially a film and acting collective, the group is mostly known for its electronic music. The group's discography consists of twelve studio albums. History GusGus was initially formed in 1995 as a film and acting collective. Sallay-Matu Garnett, (stage-name: Loah) and Emma Garnett (stage-name: Feather/Fehdah), are Irish singer-songwriters of Sierra Leonean descent. They perform individually, but have contributed to each other's work. They have written in English, Sherbro and Krio. Sallay, a qualified pharmacist, contributed to Hozier's debut album, and in 2019 played Mary Magdalene in ''Jesus Christ Superstar'' in the Barbican Theatre, London. Gauti Þeyr Másson, better known as Emmsjé Gauti (meaning " MC Gauti"; born 17 November 1989 in Akureyri), is an Icelandic rapper and hip hop artist with R&B and pop influences. He started his rapping career in 2002 and was member of Icelandic rap groups 32c and Skábræður before going solo starting 2010 and releasing two albums ''Bara ég'' in 2011 and ''Þeyr'' in 2013 with "Kinky" as the first single from ''Þeyr''. Founded in 1986, it was the first privately owned television station in Iceland following the lifting of the state monopoly on television broadcasting.
