Loek Hermans
Louis Marie Lucien Henri Alphonse "Loek" Hermans (born 23 April 1951) is a retired Netherlands, Dutch politician of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and businessman. Biography Hermans attended a Gymnasium (school), Gymnasium in Kerkrade from April 1964 until May 1970 and applied at the Radboud University Nijmegen in June 1970 Major (academic), majoring in Public administration obtaining an Bachelor of Public Administration degree in July 1972 before graduating with an Master of Public Administration degree in July 1976. Hermans worked as a civics teacher in Arnhem from August 1972 until July 1976. Jan Franssen
Jan Franssen (born 11 June 1951 in Hilversum) is a Dutch politician. Franssen is a member of the VVD. He began his political career as an advisor to Hans Wiegel, having previously worked as a history teacher. Franssen was also a city councillor of Nederhorst den Berg, leader of the provincial parliament of North Holland and a member of the House of Representatives (1982–1994). From 1994 to 2000 Franssen was mayor of Zwolle. Finally. he was named King's Commissioner in South Holland in 2000. He resigned on December 31, 2013. He was made member of the Council of State of the Netherlands the next day. He is the current chairman of the Interprovinciaal Overleg (IPO), that looks after provincial interests. Beetsterzwaag
Beetsterzwaag ( fry, Beetstersweach) is a village in the municipality of Opsterland in the east of Friesland in the Netherlands. It had a population of around 3,485 in January 2017. Beetsterzwaag is known for its estates and manor houses. History The village was first mentioned in 1315 as Suagh, and means "pasture with cattle belonging to ". Beetsterzwaag developed on a sandy ridge from Oud Beets. In 1684, the village already contained four manor houses, and in the 19th century was described as "a kilometre of noble houses surrounded by parks and forests". Sophia Theodora Monique "Sophie" Hermans (born 1 May 1981 in Nijmegen) is a Dutch politician, representing the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) in the House of Representatives since 23 March 2017. As of the 11 January 2022 she is the parliamentary leader of the VVD in the House. Early life and education Hermans is the daughter of former politician Loek Hermans.
