Locket (film)
''Locket'' is a 1986 Indian Hindi-language action film, produced by Tahir Hussain on T.V. Films banner and directed by Ramesh Ahuja. Starring Jeetendra, Rekha, Vinod Mehra and music composed by Bappi Lahiri. Plot The film revolves around a valuable heritage treasure belonging to a royal dynasty. Its heritor Rajasaab is surrounded & slaughtered by his spiteful cousin Tagore Veer Pratap Singh. Before dying, Raja Saab entrusts the route map and his heir Rajkumar Anil Pratap Singh to his stanch Diwan Sardarilal. Diwan makes the map into two pieces and hides it in two identical lockets. The first he places to Rajkumar and the second is given to his son Shankar. In that chaos, Diwan is clutched by Veer Pratap, Rajkumar is rescued by a few villagers, and Diwan’s daughter Sonia is adopted by a wealthy couple whereas Shankar remains with his mother Lakshmi. Tahir Hussain
Mohammad Tahir Hussain Khan (19 September 1938 – 2 February 2010), better known as Tahir Hussain, was an Indian film producer, screenwriter, actor, and film director known for his works in Hindi cinema. Personal life Hussain was born in Shahabad on 19 September 1938 to Mohammed Jaffar Hussain Khan, a schoolteacher who belonged to a zamindar family of Pashtun descent, and Aamna, who traced her Arab roots to Jeddah (modern-day Saudi Arabia) and was the niece of first education minister of India Maulana Azad, and he was the youngest of five children. Murad (actor)
Hamid Ali Murad (24 September 1911 – 24 April 1997), known simply as Murad, was an Indian character actor who appeared in more than 200 Hindi language films from the early 1940s through to the end of the 1980s, playing character roles of a father, police officer, judge and an emperor. His son Raza Murad is also an actor in the Hindi film industry who is known for playing mostly villain roles. Shailendra Singh (singer)
Shailendra Singh is an Indian playback singing, playback singer and actor. He sang several Hindi and a few Marathi language, Marathi songs during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Early life Shailendra Singh was born on 4 October 1952 in Mumbai, India to a Punjabi family. Mahendra Kapoor
Mahendra Kapoor (9 January 1934 – 27 September 2008) was an Indian playback singer. In a long career spanning decades, his repertoire included popular songs such as ''Chalo ekbaar phir se Ajnabi ban jayen hum dono'' ( Gumrah) and ''Neele Gagan ke tale'' ( Hamraaz). His name however became most closely associated with patriotic songs including Mere Desh Ki Dharti in Manoj Kumar's film Upkaar. He considered Mohammad Rafi as his Guru. Mohammed Rafi
Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent. Rafi was notable for his versatility and range of voice; his songs varied from fast peppy numbers to patriotic songs, sad numbers to highly romantic songs, qawwalis to ghazals and bhajans to classical songs.
