''Loabi Vias'' is a Maldivian romantic drama web series directed by Mohamed Faisal. Produced by Coco Studio, it stars Nuzuhath Shuaib, Nashidha Mohamed, Mariyam Majudha, Mohamed Faisal and Ahmed Easa in main roles. The pilot episode of the series was released on 26 August 2021. Mohamed Faisal (actor)
Mohamed Faisal is a Maldivian film actor, editor and director. Career Faisal made his film debut with the romantic film '' Loaiybahtakaa'' (2009), written and directed by Yoosuf Shafeeu in which he stars as businessman from a wealthy family struggling to express his feelings. The romantic drama, co-starring Sheela Najeeb, Fathimath Fareela and Yoosuf Shafeeu, tells the story of unrequited love, and proved to be a commercial success. His performance in the film garnered him a nomination at 1st Maldives Film Awards ceremony. This was followed by Ali Shifau-directed family drama '' Dhin Veynuge Hithaamaigaa'' (2010) which showcases discrimination against the islanders, family revenge and fatherhood responsibilities. The film was believed to be a "huge improvement" over the recent Maldivian films and was declared to be a commercial success. Nuzuhath Shuaib (born 14 September 1988) is a Maldivian film actress. Early life Nuzuhath Shuaib was born on 14 September 1988 in N. Manadhoo. She was working at Jelly Pizza when her friend, a film actor Ali Azim introduced her to the team of ''Malikaa''. Impressed with the brief meeting, she was roped in to play the title character in the film. Career Nuzuhath Shuaib made her film debut with Ali Musthafa-directed family drama ''Malikaa'' playing the titular role, Malikaa, a sidelined daughter who has been underappreciated for her doings while she manages to execute the whole responsibilities of the family. Nashidha Mohamed
Nashidha Mohamed is a Maldivian actress. Career Mohamed was first noticed by the owner of the production studio Corona Arts while he was attending an event held in Kulhudhuffushi, where she was performing onstage. Impressed with her appearance and dancing skills, he offered her to star in a video alongside Ahmed Asim. Her next appearance was in Abdul Fattah's horror film '' Eynaa'' (2004), alongside Sheela Najeeb, Mohamed Manik, Ahmed Shah, Khadheeja Ibrahim Didi, and Ibrahim Jihad. The film garnered critical acclaim, especially for its technical team, and was a commercial success. Mariyam Majudha
Mariyam Majudha (born 18 March 1988) is a Maldivian film actress. Career Majudha made her film debut in the Aishath Fuad Thaufeeq-directed ''Hulhudhaan'' as Sama (2014) alongside Roanu Hassan Manik, which was a critical success. The film was later screened at the Venice Film Festival. Her performance as Sama, a drug addict, received a positive response from the critics. The following year, she appeared in the Ali Shifau-directed romantic film '' Emme Fahu Vindha Jehendhen'' opposite Mohamed Jumayyil, where she portrayed the role of Meera. Ahmed Easa
Ahmed Easa (born 7 October 1985) is a Maldivian film actor. Career In his childhood, Ahmed Easa watched Bollywood films and imitated the acting of Sunil Shetty in stage performances. While watching his movies, Easa grew a fondness towards cinema and decided to pursue a career in acting "if granted with a chance worth holding for". He was first offered a role in Amjad Ibrahim's romantic horror film ''Udhabaani'' (2009) but he rejected it since he was "too shy to be in front of the camera with his current physique". However, he made his film debut two years later with Hamid Ali's '' Laelaa'' (2011) co-starring Yoosuf Shafeeu, Amira Ismail and Ali.
