Liz Schepers
Elizabeth Schepers (born February 13, 1999) is an American professional ice hockey forward for the Boston Fleet of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She previously played for the Minnesota Frost of the PWHL and Minnesota Whitecaps of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). She played college ice hockey at Ohio State. College career Schepers began her collegiate career for the Ohio State Buckeyes women's ice hockey, Ohio State Buckeyes during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season, 2017–18 season. During her freshman year, she recorded seven goals and nine assists in 39 games. During the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season, 2018–19 season in her sophomore year, she appeared in all 35 games and recorded seven goals and eight assists. The Minnesota Frost are a professional ice hockey team based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, that competes in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). They are one of the six charter franchises of the league. The team plays its home games at Xcel Energy Center. In 2024, the Frost won the PWHL's inaugural Walter Cup championship. 2021–22 NCAA Division I Women's Ice Hockey Season
The 2021–22 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season began in September 2021 and ended with the 2022 NCAA National Collegiate Women's Ice Hockey Tournament's championship game at Pegula Ice Arena in State College, Pennsylvania on March 20, 2022. The 2024–25 PWHL season was the second season of operation of the Professional Women's Hockey League. The Walter Cup () is the championship trophy awarded annually to the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) playoff champion. The 2023–24 PWHL season was the first season of operation of the Professional Women's Hockey League, and began play on January 1, 2024. Six teams competed during the inaugural season, located in PWHL Montreal, Montreal, PWHL Toronto, Toronto, PWHL New York, New York/Bridgeport, PWHL Boston, Boston, PWHL Ottawa, Ottawa, and PWHL Minnesota, Saint Paul. The season culminated in a two-round best-of-five playoff including the top four teams to determine the season champion. PWHL Toronto topped the regular season standings with 17 wins and 47 points.
