Liz Linehan is an American politician serving as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives from the 103rd district. She assumed office in 2017. Early life and education Linehan was born and raised in Cheshire, Connecticut. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Central Connecticut State University. Career Prior to entering politics, Linehan worked as a morning radio show producer and marketing professional. Linehan also served as a member of the Cheshire Town Council. Cheshire ( ), formerly known as New Cheshire Parish, is a town in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States. At the time of the 2020 census, the population of Cheshire was 28,733. The center of population of Connecticut is located in Cheshire. History Cheshire, Connecticut was first settled in 1694 as part of Wallingford, Connecticut. It was then known as ''New Cheshire Parish.'' After many attempts in securing their independence from Wallingford, New Cheshire Parish was granted secession and was later incorporated as a town in May 1780 as ''Cheshire''. Central Connecticut State University (Central Connecticut, CCSU, Central Connecticut State, or informally Central) is a public university in New Britain, Connecticut, United States. Alfred C. Adinolfi (August 24, 1934 – December 18, 2019) was an American politician. Adinolfi was born in New York City in Brooklyn. He served in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1956. Adinolfi went to Pratt Institute in 1957 to study mechanical engineering. Adinolfi lived in Cheshire, Connecticut. He worked at DNE Technologies and was one of the managers.
