Livingston is a county constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, to which it returns one Member of Parliament (MP). Elections are held using the first-past-the-post voting system. Winchburgh is a village in the Subdivisions of Scotland, council area of West Lothian, Scotland. It is located approximately west of the city centre of Edinburgh, east of Linlithgow and northeast of Broxburn, West Lothian, Broxburn. Demographics The 2001 census recorded around 2,000 persons in Winchburgh. In 2015, the population of Winchburgh was cited as having increased to 2,430 persons. As a result of new developments (still ongoing), the 2020 population had increased by over 50% to 3,840. 2023 Review Of Westminster Constituencies
The 2023 review of Westminster constituencies was the most recent cycle of the process to redraw the constituency map for the House of Commons of the United Kingdom. The new constituency boundaries were approved by the Privy Council on 15 November 2023 and came into law on 29 November. It is the first review of Westminster boundaries to be successfully implemented since 2010. These constituencies were first contested at the 2024 general election.
