Extreme Championship Wrestling
Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) was an American professional wrestling promotion that was based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and operated by its parent company HHG Corporation. The promotion was founded in 1992 by Tod Gordon as National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) affiliate Eastern Championship Wrestling. The following year, businessman and wrestling manager Paul Heyman took over the creative end of the promotion from Eddie Gilbert (wrestler), Eddie Gilbert. Under Heyman, the promotion was rechristened as Extreme Championship Wrestling. ECW World Heavyweight Championship
The ECW World Heavyweight Championship was a professional wrestling Professional wrestling championship#World championships, world heavyweight championship originally used in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and later, WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Terrance Guido Gerin (born October 7, 1975) is an American professional wrestler better known by the ring name Rhyno (or Rhino). He is a freelancer, appearing for various promotions such as All Elite Wrestling (AEW), National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), and on the independent circuit. He is best known for his tenures in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), WWE, and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where he is a 2024 TNA Hall of Fame inductee. Championship unification is the act of combining two or more separate professional wrestling championships into a single title. Living Dangerously (1999) was the second Living Dangerously professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). It took place on March 21, 1999, from the Asbury Park Convention Hall in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Event Before the event aired live on pay-per-view, Nova and Chris Chetti defeated Danny Doring and Roadkill in a non-televised match. Preliminary matches The event kicked off with a match between Super Crazy and Yoshihiro Tajiri in a rematch from Crossing the Line '99 the prior month. Tajiri attempted to reverse a powerbomb attempt by Crazy into a hurricanrana but Crazy rolled through with a roll-up for the win.
