''Live in Tokyo 25th November 2005'' is a 2005 (see 2005 in music) album by Underworld. It is a recording of Underworld's live performance at the Electraglide festival in Tokyo on 25 November 2005. This limited edition 3-CD set was originally available to order only at the 2005 Electraglide shows in Tokyo and Osaka. It was shipped a few weeks later to attendees who ordered them at the show. After fulfilling the Electraglide attendee orders, Underworld sold the remainder of the stock directly to dirty.org (now borndirty.org) members via semi-private eBay auctions. There were apparently only 7000 copies of the album made. Underworld (band)
Underworld are a British electronic music group formed in 1987 in Cardiff, Wales (although active in several other guises since 1978), and the principal collaborative project of Karl Hyde and Rick Smith (musician), Rick Smith. After briefly performing as a funk and synth-pop outfit, resulting in two albums between 1988 and 1989, Underworld gained prominence after reshaping into a dance and techno band, releasing albums including ''Dubnobasswithmyheadman'' (1994), ''Second Toughest in the Infants'' (1996) and ''Beaucoup Fish'' (1999), as well as singles "Born Slippy Nuxx" and "Dark & Long, Dark & Long (Dark Train)". is a convention center in Chiba (city), Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, located just outside of Tokyo. Rick Smith (Underworld)
Richard Smith (born 25 May 1959) is a Welsh musician and composer. He is a founding member of British electronic music group Underworld and an acclaimed composer, having collaborated extensively with director Danny Boyle, most notably as the musical director for the London 2012 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony, alongside Underworld's Karl Hyde. He is also a founding member of the multi-discipline design and film collective Tomato. Career Smith left a bank clerk job in Llanelli to do an electronic and electrical engineering degree; however, he dropped out during his finals after being asked to join Hyde’s band The Screen Gemz. In 1983, they formed the new wave band Freur and recorded two albums for CBS Records International. The group disbanded in 1986. Due to the success of lead single "Crocodile" and the use of "To Heal" as a central theme in the film ''Sunshine (2007 film), Sunshine'', ''Oblivion with Bells'' has sold over 93,000 copies worldwide, as of 23 May 2008. Critical reception ''Oblivion with Bells'' received mostly positive reviews from most music critics. The album has a score of 64/100 on Metacritic based on 24 reviews. AllMusic gave the album 3 out of 5 stars saying "The acid techno is firmly in place, with little or no regard for developments in the form after the '80s. Harley-Davidson FL is a model designation used for Harley-Davidson motorcycles since 1941, when F referred to the new large capacity 74 cui (1200cc) variant of the V-2 Overhead valve engine (″ Knucklehead″) that was introduced in 1936 as Model E with 61 cui (1000cc). The presence of an additional letter L indicated higher compression, offering more power but requiring higher octane leaded gasoline. In the early 1950s, the low compression version was discontinued, and in 1952 also the low capacity EL, making FL the basic model designation of Big Twin engines for decades to come. Chthonic is the technical adjective for things of the underworld. The concept of an underworld is found in almost every civilization and "may be as old as humanity itself".
