The AN-196 Liutyi (Ukrainian language, Ukrainian: Лютий, “fierce/furious”) also spelled Lyutyi or Liutiy, is a Ukraine, Ukrainian Loitering munition, one-way attack unmanned aerial vehicle (OWA-UAV) developed by Ukrainian Defense Industry, Ukroboronprom in October 2022 as an analogue to the Russian-fielded HESA Shahed 136, Shahed 136 loitering munition. During the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Liutyi has seen use by Ukraine in Attacks in Russia during the Russian invasion of Ukraine , attacks on Russian territory, including Oil refinery, oil refineries, industrial facilities, and military airfields.
