''Scrubs'' (stylized as ''[scrubs]'') is an American medical drama, medical sitcom created by Bill Lawrence (producer), Bill Lawrence that aired from October 2, 2001, to March 17, 2010, on NBC and later American Broadcasting Company, ABC. The series follows the lives of employees at the fictional Sacred Heart Hospital, which is a teaching hospital. The title is a play on scrubs (clothing), surgical scrubs and a term for a low-ranking person because at the beginning of the series, most of the main characters are medical interns. Brody the bear (born January 14, 1995, in Sequim, Washington) was a male Kodiak bear and animal actor. Background The bear was raised and trained by his owners, Jeff and the late Leanne Watson, since he was 8 weeks old and weighed less than 10 pounds (4.5 kg). The Watsons acquired Brody from animal trainer and cinematographer Lloyd Beebe who operated the Olympic Game Farm and managed animal actors for Disney. Brody and the Watsons traveled throughout the United States educating the public about bears and safety. His first television appearance was on ''Good Morning America'' at the age of 12 weeks. He appeared in numerous films, television shows, commercials and print ads and appeared on the cover of ''National Geographic Magazine''. Gentle Ben is a bear character created by author Walt Morey and first introduced in a 1965 children's novel, ''Gentle Ben''. The original novel told the story of the friendship between a large male bear named Ben and a boy named Mark. Mowgli's Story
The Mowgli's are an American alternative rock band from Calabasas, California, most known for their alternative radio hit single "San Francisco." Background and formation Most of The Mowgli's grew up together outside of Los Angeles in Calabasas, CA. Dieden grew up in Kansas City and Hogan grew up in Oklahoma City. In late 2009, Michael Vincze met Colin Dieden, who had recently moved from Kansas City, at a party. Later, the two wrote one of the group's first songs by combining elements of pieces they were both developing. This would become the track "The Great Divide". It was during an impromptu trip to San Francisco that Vincze and Dieden wrote the track "San Francisco" one night at a cheap motel room the bandmates were staying in.
