An ethnic party is a political party that overtly presents itself as the champion of one ethnic group or sets of ethnic groups. Ethnic parties make such representation central to their voter mobilization strategy. An alternate designation is 'Political parties of minorities', but they should not be mistaken with regionalist or separatist parties, whose purpose is territorial autonomy. Turks In Bulgaria
Bulgarian Turks ( bg, български турци, bŭlgarski turtsi, tr, Bulgaristan Türkleri) are a Turkish ethnic group from Bulgaria. According to the 2021 census, there were 508,375 Bulgarians of Turkish descent, roughly 8.4% of the population, making them the country's largest ethnic minority. Bulgarian Turks also comprise the largest single population of Turks in the Balkans. They primarily live in the southern province of Kardzhali and the northeastern provinces of Shumen, Silistra, Razgrad and Targovishte. There is also a diaspora outside Bulgaria in countries such as Turkey, Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Romania, the most significant of which are the Bulgarian Turks in Turkey. Hungarians are a recognized ethnic minority in Croatia. According to the 2011 census there are 14,048 people of Hungarian ethnicity living in Croatia (or 0.33% of total population). Around two thirds of them (8,249) live in Osijek-Baranja County in eastern Croatia, especially in the Croatian part of the Baranya region which borders Hungary to the north. There are also small Hungarian communities in other parts of the country, including areas in Bjelovar-Bilogora County in central Croatia where 881 people identify themselves as Hungarian. Democratic Union Of Hungarians Of Croatia
The Democratic Union of Hungarians of Croatia ( hr, Demokratska zajednica Mađara Hrvatske, DZMH; hu, Horvátországi Magyarok Demokratikus Közössége, HMDK) is a Croatian non-governmental organization that represents the Hungarian minority. It was established in 1993, and is headquartered in Osijek. Self-definition The goals of the Democratic Union of Hungarians of Croatia are the demographic preservation of current numbers of Hungarians in Croatia, respect of Constitutional Act on the Rights of National Minorities in the Republic of Croatia and establishment of positive Croatia–Hungary relations. The party was part of ruling coalition in the municipality of Bilje together with the Croatian Democratic Union but it cancelled cooperation with that party in 2011. Accessibility without Exclusion (''Partido Accesibilidad sin Exclusión, "PASE"'') is a political party in Costa Rica with a special focus on fighting for the rights of people with disabilities. PASE generally takes socially conservative stances, opposing LGBT rights, in vitro fertilization, and the separation of church and state. In the 2006 general elections, the party won 1.59% of the legislative vote, gaining one seat in the legislature. The New Republic Party ( es, Partido Nueva República) is a Costa Rican Christian-conservative political party founded on 20 October 2018. The party was founded after the resignation of the evangelical singer and journalist Fabricio Alvarado Muñoz from the Christian party National Restoration for disagreements with the Executive Committee chaired by Congressman Carlos Avendaño. Alvarado was the latter's presidential candidate in the 2018 elections of major significance, since he was the most voted in the first round with 25% of the votes, qualifying for the run-off, but was defeated by the Citizen's Action Party nominee Carlos Alvarado Quesada. National Restoration Party (Costa Rica)
The National Restoration Party ('' es, Partido Restauración Nacional'' – PRN or PREN) is a political party in Costa Rica. It was founded in 2005 by Carlos Avendaño Calvo mostly by dissidents of Costa Rica's historical Christian party, Costa Rican Renewal, after its then only deputy, Carlos Avendaño Calvo, left. Avendaño would successfully return to Congress because of the party from 2010 to 2014. Even though he had personal differences with Justo Orozco (then the PRC's only deputy), both were able to work together in defending the same agenda, mainly the conservative views of the evangelical community. The party's candidate in the presidential election of 2014 was Avendaño, who received 1.35 percent of the vote. The Costa Rican Renewal Party ( es, Partido Renovación Costarricense) is a Christian political party in Costa Rica. Mapuche
The Mapuche ( (Mapuche & Spanish: )) are a group of indigenous inhabitants of south-central Chile and southwestern Argentina, including parts of Patagonia. The collective term refers to a wide-ranging ethnicity composed of various groups who shared a common social, religious, and economic structure, as well as a common linguistic heritage as Mapudungun speakers. Their habitat once extended from Aconcagua Valley to Chiloé Archipelago and later spread eastward to Puelmapu, a land comprising part of the Argentine pampa and Patagonia. Today the collective group makes up over 80% of the indigenous peoples in Chile, and about 9% of the total Chilean population. The Mapuche are particularly concentrated in the Araucanía region.
