Andrzej Duda
Andrzej Sebastian Duda (born 16 May 1972) is a Polish lawyer and politician who has served as the sixth president of Poland since 2015. Before becoming president, he served as a Member of the Sejm from 2011 to 2014 and before becoming Member of the European Parliament from 2014 until his resignation in 2015. Murder Of Ján Kuciak
Ján Kuciak (17 May 1990 – 21 February 2018) was a Slovak Investigative journalism, investigative journalist. Kuciak worked as a reporter for the news website Aktuality.sk and focused mainly on investigating tax fraud of several businessmen with connections to top-level Slovak politicians. He and his fiancée, Martina Kušnírová, were assassination, assassinated on 21 February 2018 in their home in Veľká Mača, Galanta District, Slovakia. Kuciak was the first journalist murdered in Slovakia since the country's independence. 2022 Bratislava Shooting
On 12 October 2022, two people were killed (plus the perpetrator), and a third person was wounded in a shooting outside of the front entrance of Tepláreň, a gay bar in Bratislava, Slovakia, a well-known spot frequented by the local LGBTQ community. The shooting claimed two victims: Juraj Vankulič, a Non-binary gender, non-binary person, and Matúš Horváth, a Bisexuality, bisexual man. The perpetrator was found dead from a suicide by gunshot, self-inflicted gunshot the morning after the attack. The investigation classified the shooting as a Terrorism, terrorist attack and found that primary targets included high level politicians. Boris Kollár (born 14 August 1965) is a Slovak businessman and politician. He served as a Member of the National Council (Slovakia), National Council from 2016 to 2023 and a Speaker of the National Council from 2020 to 2023. He has 17 children. Eduard Heger (; born 3 May 1976) is a Slovak politician, who served as the Prime Minister of Slovakia from 1 April 2021 to 15 May 2023. He previously served as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance in the Matovič Cabinet, cabinet of Igor Matovič. Heger was a member of the presidium of the Ordinary People and Independent Personalities (OĽaNO) party which he left in March 2023 to take over the extra-parliamentary Blue Coalition party, subsequently rebranded as Democrats (Slovakia), Democrats. Zuzana Čaputová
Zuzana Čaputová (; Strapáková; born 21 June 1973) is a Slovak politician, lawyer and environmental activist who served as the fifth president of Slovakia from 2019 to 2024. Čaputová is the first woman to hold the presidency, as well as the youngest president in the history of Slovakia, elected at the age of 45.
