Athabasca (Saskatchewan Provincial Electoral District)
Athabasca is a Provinces and territories of Canada, provincial electoral district (Canada), electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. It is located in the extreme northwest corner of the province. The major industries are tourism, mineral extraction, forestry, commercial fishing, and trapping. The Cluff Lake uranium mine is located in this constituency, as well as the Athabasca Sand Dunes Provincial Park and the Clearwater River Provincial Park. The major communities are La Loche, Île-à-la-Crosse, Saskatchewan, Île-à-la-Crosse and Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan, Buffalo Narrows with populations of 2,136, 1,268, and 1,137 respectively. Lumsden-Morse
Lumsden-Morse is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. It was created mostly from parts of Thunder Creek plus six other ridings and was first contested in the 2016 election. The riding hugs the rural area along the Trans-Canada Highway between Swift Current and Regina, excluding Moose Jaw. In the northeast, it stretches to the shores of Last Mountain Lake to include the towns of Lumsden and Regina Beach. Regina Gardiner Park
Regina Gardiner Park is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. It was first contested in the 2016 election. The constituency essentially supersedes the electoral district of Regina Dewdney. It will be dissolved into Regina University, Regina Northeast, Regina Wascana Plains and Regina Douglas Park before the next general election. Regina Douglas Park is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. Created for the 18th Saskatchewan general election as "Regina Victoria", it was redrawn and renamed "Regina Douglas Park" by the ''Representation Act, 2002'' (Saskatchewan). The riding contains the neighbourhoods of Arnheim Place, Gladmer Park, Al Ritchie, Assiniboia East, and Boot Hill. Regina Coronation Park
Regina Coronation Park is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. Located in north-central Regina, this district includes the neighbourhoods of Coronation Park, Argyle Park, Cityview, Englewood, Highland Park and Churchill Downs. History This district was created for the 1995 general election out of parts of Regina Albert North, Regina Rosemont and Regina Churchill Downs, as part of a major province-wide redistribution that saw the legislature reduced from 66 seats to 58 seats. For the 2003 general election, the riding gained Highland Park and Churchill Downs from Regina Northeast and lost Walsh Acres, Regent Park and Normanview to Regina Walsh Acres. Prince Albert Northcote is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. One of two provincial constituencies for the city of Prince Albert, the other being Prince Albert Carlton, the riding's southern boundary follows 15th Street ( Hwy. 302) from east to west; then curves south along 9th/10th Avenue West to 28th Street, which the boundary follows westward until the city limits. Moosomin (provincial Electoral District)
Moosomin-Montmartre is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. Located in southeastern Saskatchewan, this constituency was one of 25 created for the 1st Saskatchewan general election in 1905 under the name Moosomin. Formerly represented by speaker Don Toth, it is arguably one of the most conservative ridings in the province, having been in the hands of a centre-right party without interruption since 1975. It has never elected a member of the CCF or NDP, though the NDP came within 51 votes of winning it during its 1991 landslide. The largest centre in the constituency is the town of Moosomin. Other towns in the district include Grenfell, Kipling, Montmartre, Broadview, Whitewood, Rocanville and Wolseley. The riding was renamed Moosomin-Montmartre for the 2024 general election. Moose Jaw Wakamow is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. One of two provincial constituencies for the city of Moose Jaw, the riding contains the area of the city south of Caribou Street, northeast of 9th Avenue, and northwest of Thatcher Drive. History This district (along with its counterpart Moose Jaw North) was created for the 1967 election after the Saskatchewan government decided to retire a system of multiple-MLA electoral divisions for the cities of Regina, Saskatoon, and Moose Jaw. The riding was called Moose Jaw South prior to the 1991 general election, when it adopted its current name. From the 2003 election through the 2011 election, the riding contained a sizable rural area to the south of Moose Jaw including the Rural Municipality of Baildon and the northern half of the Rural Municipality of Terrell. Melville-Saltcoats is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. Located in southeastern Saskatchewan, this constituency was created through the ''Representation Act, 1994'' (Saskatchewan) by combining the district of Saltcoats with part of the constituency of Melville. The largest centre in the riding is the city of Melville (pop. 4,531). Melville is the smallest incorporated city in Saskatchewan. It is also a major transportation hub, with provincial Highways 10, 15, and 47 running through the city – as well as the Canadian National Railway mainline. Smaller centres in the district include the towns of Langenburg, Esterhazy, Saltcoats and Churchbridge; and the villages of Calder, Grayson, Spy Hill, Neudorf and Stockholm.
