Redmi is a subsidiary company owned by the Chinese electronics company Xiaomi. Redmi's line of products ranges from smartphones and power banks to laptops, Smart TVs, and wireless earbuds, typically sold at a price lower than Xiaomi-branded ones. This list is made according to Chinese names if the device has multiple names. The different models of each device model have differing details for different regions, in particular supporting a different range of frequency bands. Models have code names which relate to their firmware; only firmware with the right code is compatible. Xiaomi (; ) is a Chinese multinational corporation and technology company headquartered in Beijing, China. It is best known for consumer electronics software electric vehicles. It is the second-largest manufacturer of smartphones in the world, behind Samsung, most of which run on the Xiaomi HyperOS (former MIUI) operating system. Low-Power Double Data Rate (LPDDR), also known as LPDDR SDRAM, is a type of synchronous dynamic random-access memory (SDRAM) that Low-power electronics, consumes less power than other random access memory designs and is thus targeted for mobile computing devices such as laptop computers and smartphones. Older variants are also known as Mobile DDR, and abbreviated as mDDR. Xiaomi Redmi 2 is a smartphone produced by Xiaomi released in January 2015. It is the successor to the Xiaomi Redmi 1 family. MIUI is a deprecated mobile operating system by Xiaomi for its smartphones and devices, from 2010 to 2023, prior to the launch of its successor Xiaomi HyperOS. MIUI was Fork (software development), based on the Android (operating system), Android Open Source Project, and served as the basis for other OS deviations by Xiaomi: MIUI for Poco (company), Poco, MIUI Pad, MIUI Watch, and MIUI TV (PatchWall).
