List Of Minder Episodes
This episode list gives brief descriptions and some other details of the episodes of the ITV television series '' Minder'', set in contemporary London. The earliest episodes focus on Terry McCann ( Dennis Waterman), a former professional boxer who has served time in jail and is determined not to return there. He finds himself in the orbit of Arthur Daley ( George Cole), a middle-aged car salesman and self-described entrepreneur working on the edge of (and often beyond) the law in pursuit of a quick profit. Terry works for Arthur as an assistant/bodyguard (known as a 'minder'), and is often loaned out by Arthur to work for others in a similar capacity. Over the course of the first three series, the focus of the show shifts so that the ever-scheming Arthur moves from being a supporting character to co-lead with Terry. ITV (TV Network)

Phil McCall
Phil McCall (born Philip McColl; 26 November 1925 – 29 January 2002) was a Glaswegian actor who appeared in numerous plays, films and television productions over a 40-year period. Early life and education McCall's father was a labourer. He attended St Mungo's Academy in Glasgow and trained as an actor at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. He then appeared in repertory theatre in Scotland and England. Acting career McCall had significant film roles in '' Ring of Bright Water'' (1969) and Lars von Trier's ''Breaking the Waves'' (1996). His television appearances included ''Dr. Finlay's Casebook, Bottle Boys'', '' Monarch of the Glen'', and ''Coronation Street''. James Aubrey (actor)
James Aubrey Tregidgo (28 August 1947 – 6 April 2010), known professionally as James Aubrey, was an English stage and screen actor. He trained for the stage at the Drama Centre London, some years after making his professional acting debut in a production of ''Isle of Children'' (1962) and his screen acting debut in the film adaptation of ''Lord of the Flies (1963 film), Lord of the Flies'' (1963). George Layton (born George Michael William Löwy; 2 March 1942) is a British actor, director, screenwriter and author best known for three television roles – junior doctor Paul Collier in the comedy series ''Doctor in the House'' and its sequels '' Doctor at Large'', '' Doctor in Charge'' ''and Doctor at the Top'', Bombardier 'Solly' Solomons in the first two series of '' It Ain't Half Hot Mum'', and Des the mechanic in early episodes of '' Minder''. June Rose Ritchie (born 31 May 1941) is a British actress. Early life She attended Stretford Children's Theatre from the age of nine. Sir Derek George Jacobi (; born 22 October 1938) is an English actor. Ian Gordon Arthur Collier (25 January 1943 – 1 October 2008) was a British actor. Collier appeared on stage in Tony Richardson's production of ''Hamlet'' in 1969 at London's Roundhouse, and at the Lunt-Fontanne theater in New York City. Other repertory work includes appearances in Barrow-in-Furness and Liverpool, as well as the Royal Shakespeare Company. Albert Patrick Jordan (10 October 1923 – 10 January 2020) was a British stage, film and television actor. Biography He was born and raised in Harrow, Middlesex, the son of Margaret, a cook, and Albert Jordan, a regimental sergeant major. Michael Sheard
Michael Sheard (born Michael Lawson Perkins; 18 June 1938 – 31 August 2005) was a Scottish actor who featured in many films and television programmes, and was best known for playing villains. His most prominent television role was as strict deputy headmaster Maurice Bronson in the children's series ''Grange Hill'', which he played between 1985 and 1989.
