The following is a list of characters that first appeared in the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'' in 2007, by order of first appearance. Father Raymond Father Raymond is the Catholic Priest that first appeared to console Myra McQueen (Nicole Barber-Lane) over the anguish she felt about her gay son John Paul McQueen ( James Sutton). He also helped prepare for the double wedding of Russ Owen (Stuart Manning) and Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) and Dominic Reilly ( John Pickard) and Tina McQueen (Leah Hackett), he also took confession from Mercedes about her affair with Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas). He is a priest at St. Paul's Catholic Church. Father Raymond reappears when Kieron Hobbs ( Jake Hendriks) chose to leave his position in the church and told him that he must do what is right for him. Warren Fox
Warren Fox is a fictional character from the British soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', portrayed by Jamie Lomas. The character and casting were announced on 12 May 2006, and Warren made his first appearance on 26 June. He was introduced as an old acquaintance of Sean Kennedy ( Matthew Jay Lewis). Warren's early storylines involved his dealings in many crimes such as drug dealing and protection rackets amongst other things, affairs with Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) and Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn), murdering associate Sean Kennedy and ex-fiancée Lousie Summers and feuds with both Clare Devine and Calvin Valentine (Ricky Whittle). Paul Marquess (born 23 June 1964) is a television producer from Belfast, Northern Ireland. His credits include ''Brookside'', ''The Bill'', ''Family Affairs'', ''Hollyoaks'', ''Crime Stories'', '' Suspects'' and '' Hope Street''. He also originated the idea for the series ''Footballers' Wives''. He currently holds the post of managing director of Newman Street, a label of Fremantlemedia. Bryan Kirkwood
Bryan Kirkwood (born November 1975) is a British television producer. He was the producer of the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'' from 2006 until 2009 and was the executive producer of the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' from 2010 until 2012. He returned as the executive producer of ''Hollyoaks'' in late 2012, before leaving again in March 2021. His final episodes aired in June of that year. In 2022, he returned to ''EastEnders'' as a writer. Career Kirkwood's first major role came as a storyline for ITV's ''Coronation Street''. Episode 6465
Episode 6465 of the British soap opera ''Hollyoaks'' was first released on 24 September 2024. The episode featured the plea hearing of JJ Osborne (Ryan Mulvey) for the sexual abuse of his sister Frankie ( Isabelle Smith). In the episode, JJ collapses, and it is revealed that he has leukaemia, which puts Frankie getting justice into doubt. The plot also involved Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) finding out that her chemotherapy for her bowel cancer has not been successful and that she only has a year left to live if she is unable to get further treatment. The end of the episode sees Mercedes look in the mirror and confront her reality without her wig and with her stoma and scars on show. The scene was highly praised by critics and viewers and was shortlisted for "Scene of the Year" at the 2025 British Soap Awards. Elá-May Melek Demircan (born 2006) is a British actress. She began portraying Leah Barnes on the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'' in 2011 when she was four years old. Calvin Valentine is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Ricky Whittle.
