The club was formed in 1932 by some of Algerian nationalists which decided to create a Muslim club to compete with the European clubs of the moments when Algeria was a French district (French Algeria). USM Blida
Union Sportive Madinat Blida ( ar, الإتحاد الرياضي لمدينة البليدة), known as USM Blida or simply USMB, is a football club based in Blida, Algeria. They currently play in the Inter-Régions Division, the third tier of Algerian football. Founded in 1932, they have played their home games at Brakni Brothers Stadium since 1936. The club has spent all of its history playing between the first or second tiers. The club's highest-ever league finish was second in the top flight in 2002–03. They were Algerian Cup runners-up in 1996. The club have also won the second tier title four times. The club's home colours are green and white, and their nickname is The Salvador. Algerian Cup
The Algerian Cup ( ar, كأس الجزائر) also known the Republic Cup ( ar, كأس الجمهورية), is a football competition in Algeria, pitting regional teams against each other. It was established in October 1962, three months after independence, and has been played yearly since then apart from 1990 and 1993. The most successful clubs in this competition are USM Alger, CR Belouizdad, ES Setif and MC Alger with eight trophies for each. The record for consecutive wins in the competition is only two, several teams have achieved such USM Alger, CR Belouizdad, MC Oran, JS Kabylie and MC Algiers. However, ES Sétif are the only to achieve this twice. CR Belouizdad are the current title holders. National Liberation Front (Algeria)
The National Liberation Front ( ar, جبهة التحرير الوطني ''Jabhatu l-Taḥrīri l-Waṭanī''; french: Front de libération nationale, FLN) is a nationalist political party in Algeria. It was the principal nationalist movement during the Algerian War and the sole legal and ruling political party of the Algerian state until other parties were legalised in 1989.
