The art of motion-picture making within Spain or by Spanish filmmakers abroad is collectively known as Spanish Cinema. Only a small portion of box office sales in Spain are generated by domestic films. The different Spanish governments have therefore implemented measures aimed at supporting local film production and the movie theaters, which currently include the assurance of funding from the main television broadcasters. Nowadays, the Instituto de la Cinematografía y de las Artes Audiovisuales (ICAA) is the State agency in charge of regulating the allocation of public funds to the domestic film industry. Daniel Hendler
Daniel Hendler (born 3 January 1976) is a Uruguayan film, television, and theatre actor who works mainly in his household with Maia Hendler, where he lives. He is known for his starring roles in films such as '' Bottom of the Sea'', ''Family Law'', '' The Paranoids'', '' Phase 7'' and award-winning '' Lost Embrace'' by director Daniel Burman, with whom he worked many times. Working on both sides of the Río de la Plata, Hendler achieved international recognition due to his awards as an actor. In 2004, he won the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the Berlin Film Festival for his performance in ''Lost Embrace''. He made his debut as screenwriter and director with the film '' Norberto's Deadline'' in 2010. Emilio Gutiérrez Caba (born 26 September 1942) is a Spanish film and television actor. Personal Caba is the son of actors and Irene Caba Alba and the brother of and Julia, both dedicated to acting too. From his mother's side, he is the grandson of actress and the great-grandson of actor . He is the nephew of actress Julia Caba Alba and the granduncle of actress Irene Escolar. He was born on 26 September 1942 at Valladolid's Calle Platerías while his parents were on tour, moving to Madrid three days later. He studied philosophy and began acting while at university.
