Basshunter is a Swedish singer, record producer and Disc jockey, DJ. He has recorded over 100 songs for five album, studio albums and two compilation albums. His first album, ''The Bassmachine'', was released on 25 August 2004. He made his music available for free as internet downloads on platforms such as chat channels and gaming websites. In 2006, he signed with Extensive Music and Warner Music Sweden. ''The Old Shit''—a compilation album of Basshunter's unreleased tracks—and ''The Bassmachine'' were made available to buy on his website in 2006. Reception Alex Miller from ''The Guardian'' said that "Every Morning" reminds McFly and criticized rhythms and lyrics. Miller also criticized the ending of music video. Alex Fletcher from Digital Spy said that despite the soft guitar jangle audible and some characteristics of the melody, it could be argued that "Every Morning" was a poor improvement over ''Now You're Gone – The Album''. In conclusion he stated that because of the music video, lyrics and beats of the song "Every Morning" is an evolution rather than a revolution in Basshunter's development. ''Now You're Gone – The Album'' is the third studio album by Swedish musician Basshunter. Released on 14 July 2008, it is his debut English language album, entering the UK Albums Chart at number one, and selling in excess of 329,717 copies in the UK making it platinum. In New Zealand, the album peaked at number one in its fifth week, and was certified platinum and selling over 20,000 copies. The album spent a total of two weeks at number one. Reception Ronny Larsson from ''QX (magazine), QX'' noted that the English-language lyrics no longer refer to the data as they did on the ''LOL (Basshunter album), LOL'' album, but still sings on about nonsense, adding that dance music lyrics are not too poetic.
