Pharmacy School
The basic requirement for pharmacists to be considered for registration is often an undergraduate or postgraduate pharmacy degree from a recognized university. In many countries, this involves a four- or five-year course to attain a bachelor of pharmacy or Master of Pharmacy, master of pharmacy degree. In the United States since 2003, students must complete a doctor of pharmacy degree to become a licensed pharmacist, with a similar requirement being introduced in some other countries such as Canada and France. The Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan (AWKUM) () () is a public university located in the Mardan District of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Named after Abdul Wali Khan, the university has forty nine institutions affiliated with it. The university started in the historical postgraduate college of Mardan. Mardan District
Mardan District (, ) is a district in the Mardan Division of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The district is named after Mardan city, which is also the headquarters of the district. Malakand District (, ) is a Districts of Pakistan, district in the Malakand Division of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Until 1970, it was a part of the Malakand Protected Area of the erstwhile Provincially Administered Tribal Area(PATA) of Pakistan. In 1970, the district became part of the Malakand Division. Gomal University (Urdu: جامعہ گومل) is a public research university located in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Founded and established in 1974, the university is one of the older institutions in the province and occupies one of the largest campuses in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.
