Qawwal
Qawwali is a form of Sufi Islamic devotional song, devotional singing originating in the Indian subcontinent. Originally performed at Sufi shrines throughout the Indian subcontinent, it is famous throughout Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Afghanistan and has also gained mainstream popularity and an international audience as of the late 20th century. While hereditary performers continue to perform Qawwali music in traditional and devotional contexts, Qawwali has received international exposure through the work of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Aziz Mian and Sabri Brothers largely due to several releases on the Real World Records, Real World label, followed by live appearances at WOMAD festivals. Abrar-ul-Haq
Abrar-ul-Haq () is a Pakistani singer-songwriter, philanthropist, and a politician. His debut 1995 album ''Billo De Ghar'' sold over 40.3million albums worldwide, which made him a household name and granted him the title of "King of Pakistani pop". Abrar-ul-Haq is the founder and chairman of Sahara for Life Trust, a private organization that has been providing health services to the people of Narowal and surrounding areas since 1998. Alamgir (singer)
Alamgir Haq (born 11 August 1955) is a Pakistani singer-songwriter, guitarist, and one of the pioneers of pop music in Pakistan. His style of singing is inspired by playback singer Ahmed Rushdi and Elvis Presley. He is known as "Elvis of the East". Early life Alamgir was born on 11 August 1955 in Rangpur, East Pakistan. His father, Farmuzal Haq, was a politician and a member of the All India Muslim League as Secretary of Treasury and later a member of Pakistan's National Assembly during the presidency of Ayub Khan. He also studied in Mirzapur Cadet College, Tangail, in the province of East Bengal. He briefly studied at Shaheen School in Dacca. Atif Aslam (; born 12 March 1983) is a Pakistani playback singer, songwriter, composer, and actor. Allan Fakir or Allan Faqir (1932 – 4 July 2000) (), was a Sindhis, Sindhi folk singer from Sindh, Pakistan. He was particularly known for his ecstatic style of performance, marked with devotional rhetoric and Sufi dance-singing. Ali Baba Khan (; born Ali Ul Habib, 5 March 1993) is a Pakistani Pashtun Sufi singer in the Pashto music industry. Early life and education He was born on 5 March 1993 in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Khan got his telecommunications engineering degree from the City University of Science and Information Technology in Peshawar. Ali Azmat
Ali Azmat Pacha (born 20 April 1966) is a Pakistani singer-songwriter, musician and actor. He is best known as the lead singer for the influential Sufi rock band Junoon and for his subsequent solo career later followed by a career as an actor as well. Alam Lohar
Alam Lohar () was a Pakistani Punjabi folk music singer. He is widely regarded as the greatest singer of Punjabi folk music. He is credited with creating and popularising the musical term Jugni. Ahmed Rushdi (; 24 April 1934 – 11 April 1983) was a versatile Pakistani playback singer and was "an important contributor to the Cinema of Pakistan#The Golden Era (1959–1977), golden age of Pakistani film music".
